The pleasant evening breeze touched everyone’s hearts and calmed their minds. Following the battle,
the entire pack was discharged, so they could get ready for the dinner that they had been invited to
later that evening.
That night, more people joined the Sirius Bright Pack in their celebration, the Blue Moon Pack, Ardara
Moon Pack, and Vampire King Alfred. While the newlyweds were busy in their room enjoying their first
night before dinner.
When all of the pack house’s young leaders ran up the stairs to greet the new infant, Alpha Sawyer,
Vampire King Alfred, and elder Stephen were drinking and conversing in the living room.
“We are grateful you forgot our bitter rivalry and epted my granddaughter’s wedding invitation,
Alpha Sawyer” Stephen started the conversation while clinking his ss against the other man’s.
“After a long time, I came to grips with my younger son, Lewis, crimes. It was a huge mistake for me to
put so much faith in him. To be honest, it was difficult for me toprehend that he had ra*ped a girl,
since this was not how we had raised him, nor did it adhere to the moral code that we tried to instill in
him. It was upsetting and frustrating, but Maratha helped me to eventually ept the truth.
I realize it’ste, but please ept my heartfelt apologies for what my son did to a female member of
your family.” Sawyer bowed slightly, remembering that Stephen was older than him and that he felt no
shame in bowing before him.
“l understand how you feel, Alpha Sawyer. Everything is now in the past. Now we are rtives. Both of
your daughters are my granddaughters-in-mates and they are fantastic Lunas and mates. From now
on, we shall greet each other with smiles and hugs, strengthening our connection.
How can I forget that you saved Luna Kiara? If you hadn’t done that, we would have lost a Luna and
her unborn pup.”
“Well, honestly I almost had a heart attack when I saw them falling. Thankfully, Vampire King Alfred
was also there to save Adira,” Sawyer smiled at King Alfred.
“It is great to see that someone can be grateful. Seeing someone in particr has forgotten to even say
a thank you.
How rude,” The King remarked dramatically, ignoring the old wolf.
“It would be more shameful if I said thank you’ to the uncle of my grandkids for his big heart. A mere
thank you would lower your status as a King. Don’t you agree,” Stephen countered, earning narrowed
eyes from Alfred. Again the old wolf was ying with words. Sawyerughed a little as he witnessed
the true nature of their friendship before he continued.
“It is my responsibility as a Father to protect my girls, and I did so. Elder Stephen, I couldn’t risk losing
my beloved girls. To be honest, up until very recently I had mistreated Kiara for a variety of reasons.
But now I want to atone for my actions. I don’t think that will happen overnight. With my love and care
for the future, I am willing to work on building a good rtionship with her so that we can create happy
memories to rece the bad ones of the past.
I will make up for the years of love she missed” Sawyer promised. He had already talked to Kiara in
private and apologized to her about everything. He had sensed some hesitation in his daughter’s mind,
she had not responded to whether she had forgiven him or not. Sawyer realized he had to work hard to
earn her trust. The old Alpha had chosen a difficult path, but he was not about to give up!
“That’s great to hear, Alpha Sawyer,” Xaviermented as he entered the living room with his twin.
“I have to admit that the changes in your att!tude is unexpected,” he added. Having observed that
Sawyer was not faking his statements, but was rather genuine. He’d already proven himself when he’d
rescued Kiara.
“l’m curious as to what caused you to change your mind? What made you realize that you love Kiara in
the same way you do your other children?,” Zander asked, picking up a cup of coffee for himself.
“Uh well, l admitted that Kiara as mine when the Alpha King imed that she wasn’t my daughter, but it
was Martha’s actions that first made me realize how wrong I had been. Martha’sments and actions
terrified me to the point that I feared I was going to lose her. My mate is not someone who should be
messed with” the old Alpha exined, taking a deep breath as he remembered the day he feared that
he would be rejected by Martha.
“I will give you this piece of advice. Don’t provoke your females, otherwise they will fvck with your
heart,” he added while staring deep into the twins’ eyes conveying the level of danger in that matter.
“l agree. Don’t mess with your mates,” the elder Stephen concurred, causing the twins to nod as they
intently followed the suggestions of the experienced elders who had been through many difficult times
with their mates. Their bu*tts were still red from the kicks they had received from their females.
“Ha” that was when an almighty chuckle filled everyone’s ears. Everyone’s eyes snapped to the man
who had been sitting silently for a long time, as he listened to all the mated males.
“What is so funny?” Stephen narrowed his eyes on the Vampire King.
“I never had a female beside me in order to avoid all of this nonsense,” he pointed out, setting his ss
on the table and leaning his shoulders back on the sofa.
“Really? So, who are those females that are always willing to spread their th!ghs for you at your Fort?”
Xavier countered with a smirk.
“They are my se.x toys. I discard them like trash as soon as I fvck them. Rtionships, love, attraction
are all bullsh*it.

world,” Alfred finished speaking, but his red eyes were a dark shade of blood red that let everyone
know that his emotions were fluctuating while his anger was at its peak even though he was pretending
to act casually.
“You sound like you have been in love with someone before,” Xaviermented, looking deep into
Alfred’s eyes.
He immediately noticed the changes in them. A dead silence had spread over the living room, the
tension started to arise in the air that was ufortable for everyone.
“I think we should let this topic go,” Stephen suggested, gesturing to Zander to change the topic as
soon as possible.
Provoking Alfred was not good when it came to discussing love and rtionships.
“Yes, we want to discuss a few more things about your territory, Alpha Sawyer,” Zander attracted
everyone’s attention as he was holding some papers in his hand.
“What is this about?” Sawyer’s expression changed.
Nothing could be discussed about his territory since it no longer belonged to him following the battle
and the doc.uments he had signed with the twins months ago.
“We are returning your territory to you, Alpha Sawyer,” Xender handed over the papers to the older
Alpha, who was surprised.
“Why?” He asked, checking the papers were real. Now territory was back in his hands!
“First of all, our territory is already more than enough for us to handle so we don’t need yours. We had
taken it over because of the enmity between our packs, but now, as everything has been settled
between us, then we don’t need the Ardara Moon Pack anymore. It is yours. Now you are the only
Alpha of your pack” Zander exined, gesturing for his brother to continue.
“The second part is, we believe that you want to hand over your Alpha position to someone else. So for
that, you have to hold the full authority of Alpha to do so. That is one of the reasons we are returning
your territory and authority to you,” Xavier exined.
“But like l saidst time, there is no way you can make your asshle son the Alpha of your pack, Alpha
Sawyer,” Xavier added. Every time he mentioned Noah a bitter feeling came over his heart. They still
could not believe that bastard was the brother of their mates. Sawyer took a deep breath before he
decided to exin.
“Noah has not returned the pack for days, so he is unofficially banished from my pack. He has no ce
in my house after he tried to kill my Adira and Kiara. I had told him that there was no way I would
dere him the next Alpha in this lifetime. I could not hand the t!tle over to an evil traitorous criminal
and expect him to watch over the lives of 300 people,” a low growl escaped from Sawyer’s chest when
he talked about his evil son. Everyone nodded without saying a word, but Alfred c****d his brow.
“I used to think that you werewolves always passed your positions to your sons. I don’t know the
backstory of what happened with your son, but I am curious as to who will take over your pack?”
Vampire King Alfred looked curious.
“Actually, it is a difficult decision for me. It is not just about passing my position to my son. The Alpha of
the pack should be responsible, intelligent, flexible, powerful, and a person who holds Alpha blood in
his veins. Otherwise, the pack will copse in a blink of an eye, which is something that I can’t risk,”
Sawyer exined.
“Hmm, sounds like a difficult task. Now where will you find someone that will fit all of the attributes
you’ve just listed for your position?” The Vampire King pondered as everyone agreed. That was when
everyone’s eyes turned to the young man who had entered the living room with some papers.

up the ims. I also wanted to inform you that l can make another dose of the herbal remedy for Luna
Kiara, as I know you don’t want to take any risks with the pup. And on the way here I heard that Luna
Adira’s baby but it is strange that the Doctor could tell the gender of the pups in her first month.
I find it odd because it is impossible to tell the gender right now. I suspect that Luna Adira’s baby is
growing faster than we thought and that her pup has also been blessed by the Moon Goddess!” Cole
spewed out all the information in one breath.
His hand reached out for a ss of water that he ced back down after drinking it all in one go. He
had been working all of this out without stopping.
“What’s wrong?” Cole had a nervous smile when all the men in the room stared at him. Yes, he had
forgotten that there were other respectful people besides the twins and he had just interrupted their
conversation. He had also boldly drunk an entire ss of water. But was that the only reason they were
giving him those intense looks?!
“Cole,e here son,’ Sawyer smiled, gesturing for him to sit beside him.
“Me?” He was stunned.
“Yes,e here.!”
Cole felt a chill in his bones. What was wrong? Why was he being called over like he was going to be
beheaded? He was well aware of Alpha Sawyer’s nature. In middle school, Alpha Sawyer used to
come to visit Adira at the school. The Alpha had always appreciated their friendship and had liked the
young Omega, but right now this situation seemed different.
While sitting beside the older Alpha, Cole received an unexpected smile from everyone. f* “k! This was
definitely a trap!
“How can I help you, Alpha Sawyer” he kicked his nervousness away.
“Would you like to be the Alpha of my pack, Cole?”
“What?!” Cole’s eyes grewrger. Alpha Sawyer was offering him the Alpha position!
“Umm, I am an Omega, Alpha Sawyer, he pointed out.
“Who the fvck is buying that lie?” Zandermentedzily. Cole looked at Xavier, suspecting that he
had revealed his true ident!ty as an Alpha.
“I never said a single word to anyone. Your actions are enough to tell anyone,” Xavier immediately
exined, before a misunderstanding arose.
“So what is your decision, Cole?” Alpha Sawyer asked politely, but he looked like he would scold him
until his eyes bled if he refused.
“But why me?” He wondered. Sawyer had a son who deserved the position.
“Because you are perfect. I have known you from the beginning. You are a person worth trusting in my
eyes, you care for your friends and people around you,” Sawyer exined in a calm tone. Cole looked
at everyone for a few moments as he gave some thought on bing an Alpha.
“Okay, I agree” he announced, bringing a big smile to Sawyer’s face.
“That’s great! Then you will being with me to my pack and ept my position as soon as possible.
I will adopt you as my son,” the older wolf gave a big hug to his new son.
Cole blinked in surprise. fvck! It was really true that any second your life could change. The young wolf
had gotten a Father, a pack, a position, and wealth!
“I will try my best and will never disappoint you, Alpha Sawyer,” Cole hugged Sawyer back. It was time
for him to pay attention to his own life.
Everyone was satisfied with Sawyer’s decisions, even the Alpha sisters who had been standing near
the door and heard everything.
