“I can prove my ims,” Petra stepped forward just as she saw her n beginning to go south as the
old wolves grew scared due to Xavier’s threat.
“How?” Stephen asked.
“I have the surrogacy contract” she smirked at Xavier.
Then specifically at the old wolf who had now positioned himself besides the one held by his
grandsons. The mere mention of the surrogacy contract had left every ranking wolf at Xavier’s side
pale. The astonished expressions on Stephen and Lena’s faces were genuine.
But Petra could feel dread and anxietying off of the Alpha standing in front of her and his loyal
Beta to be rather funny and fulfilling.
“Xavier, tell me this is a lie” Stephen retained his faith in his grandson, but his tone was soft, almost like
a whisper, when he spoke to Xavier. Even in this situation, he did not tear his green hateful eyes from
that evil woman.
The blonde b***h had ventured to bring this topic up in front of the elders, indicating that this was not a
shot in the dark. Her confident smile and stance told him that she had strong proof, then this was the
beginning of Sirius Bright Pack’s demise.
If Petra’s im was true, the Alpha King Renard would be forced to remove Xavier from his current
position as Alpha the Sirius Bright Pack, as well as his t!tle of Crown Prince.

before continuing.

shocked when I discovered that she had been offered arge amount of money after the delivery!
How cunning your grandson and temporary granddaughter-in-mate are! Whether you trust me or not,
you are being yed, Stephen,” she remarked politely, but did not forget to throw a smirk at the elder
that was now highly offended.
Petra also intended to exact revenge on that green-eyed old fox of Grandfather. For every insult,
affront, and taunt he had ever hurled her way was still vividly etched in her memory. Xavier’s
Grandfather had never acknowledged her as his granddaughter-in-mate. He had treated her as if she
were invisible, never regarding her with the respect that she deserved as Luna.
Not to mention that at Zander’s wedding Petra had seen Adira wearing a valuable family heirloom, a
diamond ne, that Stephen’s mate had stored away for the mates of her twin grandsons.
But Petra had never been fortunate enough to so much as glimpse those jewels. She had only received
what Xavier had purchased for her. They were also gorgeous and expensive, but she had never gotten
what she had truly desired.
She was fully aware that the ne had been exclusively for her. Now they had been stolen by Kiara
and Adira. Those greedy b!tches had her things! Stephen had ridiculed her by iming that he was
worried that Petra would sell his family’s cherished heirlooms!
He saw her as a low-ss woman who would do anything for money and power. Despite the fact that
she had been born with a silver spoon in her mouth. He had often insulted her, and he had also been
one of the reasons she had been exposed and rejected.
He had constantly doubted her actions and nted doubts in Zander’s mind about her. Then there was
her attractive, hot, and se.xy brother-in-mate that she had once managed to s.educe him once, but
then he exposed her.
Obviously, Zander had never told his older twin about his sister-in-mate’s low whorish behavior, but he
had never forgotten it. He began to keep his distance from Petra. Zander dug further into her former
involvement with other men and the covert measures she used to take with Orion in Xavier’s absence.
Zander had lunch with Petra and Orion a few hours earlier on the day of rejection, when Xavier had

departing for the woods to shift, run, and have fun under the light of the full moon.

never went for the run with the other pack members! He had been close to the pack house when he
summoned his brother!

fault was that she looked simr to Kiara. That was enough for Petra to hate her as well.
The red-headed Gamma female who had been listening to Petra the entire time finally lost her
patience. She was incredibly worried for her best friend who had started going intobor and was
having contractions.
Jennifer was in her room screaming and here this blonde b***h chuckled and sneered at the most
respectful person in the pack and her Alpha?!
“I have had enough of this, b***h!” Lena growled, trying to attack the other woman before her tiny wa!st
was grabbed by Kaiden.
“Lena, No!” He tried to keep her under control, but as Tyler had told him when Lena got angry, then

problem was that he was missing right now and the Beta was having trouble holding onto Lena as she
struggled furiously in his strong arms.
“Lena, calm down,” Xavier ordered casually, but Petra continued.
“I can see everyone is so scared for your well being, Xavier. It seems like they are covering for you,”
Petra chuckled. A few evil elders agreed with her, which angered Kaiden.
“I would like to inform you once again Petra, falsely using our Alpha will only lead you to your death
sentence!
You have already lost your opportunity to apologize to our Alpha and Luna, so stop misleading the
public. It will give you a less painful death if you stop using our Alpha’ as the second inmand
Kaiden fulfilled his duty as Beta with this announcement.
“The same goes with the elders who are supporting this woman. They will be punished with a painful
death,” Kiaden added, which was more than enough to scare them. Petra heard their whispers, it was
clear that they would soon leave her side and submit to Xavier. So she took the next step in her
nning.
“And what if I could show you the proof? Like l said, I have the surrogacy contract!” She raised her
voice to garner everyone’s attention.
“Then fvcking*g do it! I’ve had enough of this slut’s game,” Stephen growled. This was supposed to be
the happiest day of his granddaughter’s life. The wedding had been a smashing sess but now the
stunt and scheme that Petra had been pulling in front of the elders was ruining this special day, just like
it had been ruined for Zander and Adira’s wedding.
The curious eyes of everyone there followed her hand as she reached into her pocket and brought out

realizing that his life was finished. The king’s elders were on her side, and he Couldn’t hurt her no

that all men could view the Alpha Prince’s nasty secret.
They would also be able to see the terms, conditions, and rules that they had been held to while

papers as if the date of their demise had been written there.

victory.

was wait for Xavier’s humiliation and downfall.
“Then why the fvck are you showing us this b***h? How are my grandson and granddaughter-in-mate
connected to this signatureless and seal-less surrogacy contract?” The old wolf demanded, raising his
voice.
“What? signatureless and seal-less surrogacy contract?!”

random surrogacy contract and using our Alpha and Luna!” Lena sneered in annoyance.
“l am not lying! Kiara is Xavier’s surrogate. The contract was signed! Ask the elders if you don’t believe
me. I delivered copies of the contract to themst night” Petra faced all of the other wolves. Every elder
shook in terror when she cast her brown eyes on them.
“We never got any copies of the surrogacy contract!”
They exchanged panicked words. Why was this woman leading them to an untimely death? When they
had onlye over to check on Jennifer and had happened to overhear about the contract! Then they
had decided to use the contract to convince Xavier into taking the Alpha King’s position. But everyone

snapped, the other elders bowed their heads in shame.
Stephen’s menacing aura and remarks were reminiscent of Renard, the Alpha King. Not to mention
that his face was a carbon copy of his twin’s. His earlier warning about Renard’s involvement was
going toe back to haunt them. They could all see that their near future was going toe to
nothing more than a dead end.
“Jealous?!” Petra chuckled bitterly.
“Why would I be jealous of my subst!tute? She is just like me. Your granddaughter-in-mate has been
delivering a pup to your grandson in exchange for money! She struck a bargain! If I’m greedy then
she’s no better. The surrogacy contract is real and does exist!” Petra snapped back at him.
“Then where the fvck is it?” Stephen sneered, his look shook the woman’s spirit. Enraged, Petra took a
long deep breath. The question once again was, where the heck was the contract? She took another
look at the doc.uments.

of the blue!” She used, but she saw her brother’s eyes widen in surprise.
“Wait a minute. Does that mean that you stole some type of contract from Alpha Xavier’s room? fvck!
Why did you do that, Petra? Don’t you realize that it’s a vition to enter an Alpha’s room? You not
only broke into his room, but you also stole something, and now you’ve wrongly used him?”
Harvey’s eyes were filled with amazement. When Petra witnessed his acting, her mouth gaped at how

wedding. When I marry Iris, I intend to sever my rtionship and sibling bond with you. So, from now

Don’te to me hoping for support since you are the one who has put yourself in this situation. Who
told you to use Alpha Xavier in this way? I won’t allow you to pull me into this mess. I don’t know

surprise.
He had truly ended his rtionship with her because of his tiny whorish mate! On top of that, he stole
the contract.

The King’s elders knew that Xavier was cunning, and Petra’s eyes revealed her eagerness to bring

crazy!
“Oh my, Petra has been taking drugs?” Xavier cupped her cheeks tenderly, forcing her to gaze into his
eyes, which astonished her. It was fantastic to feel his warm touch on her cheeks after two long years.
“Did the rejection break you that badly, Petra? Are you sure that you have gotten treatment for that
drug? I hope it is not the same one that you had mixed into Kiara’s drink, Petra. I could save my mate
but I wonder how you will survive.” He wondered worriedly and then threw a smile that tell her an
indirect message.

Petra’s mouth was wide open. He had been acting like a good and kind Alpha in front of others. So he
had not replied to any of her bad words till now! In reality, he was the king of this game.

knew that Xavier had lost his soulmate. He had no right to y with her. They were all pretending that

may have caused Petra’s downfall.

“Do you have proof, Xavier?” She crossed her hands over her chest, smirking at her ex.
“A stranger handed me your surrogacy contract, the one that you wisely had changed. And all I said
was that a drug killed your mate and pup because, as everyone is aware, pregnant women canhot
survive having any drugs introduced to their systems. It’s onlymon sense. That does not imply that
I am guilty. Don’t me me for losing the two of them.” Petra countered, sessfully defending herself.
She was too proud to reveal that she had been the one who murdered Xavier’s heir in Kiara’s womb,
but she chose to wait because her fun had only just begun. She was the one who had endured two
years of humiliation on her own.
So if Harvey or the rest of the world stood with Xavier, then she was going to fight back and she was
not going to stop until there was nothing left of her enemies’ but blood and ashes.
“Do you have any evidence and witnesses?” She raised her brow, leaving her enemy helpless. She
was already aware that they had gone through the CCTV footage and they could easily use it against
her.
So she had sent one of her wolves to destroy it, leaving her enemies in distress that they had a chance
to win against her, but they failed.
“How about the victim testifying herself?” The click of sandals clicking against the tiles was followed by
a booming authoritative voice echoing through the hallway. Stephen smiled as the other elders turned
to face the woman.
When Petra noticed Kiara, her eyes widened in disbelief. fvck! What the hell was she doing here? She
should have died by now.
She walked towards them lookingpletely fine to stand next to Xavier, exuding the aura of a
powerful couple.
“Where were you, baby?” Xavier asked, pulling her into a k!ss.
“I was waiting for you in bed, as you instructed. But I had toe here” she k!ssed him back and
winked. The young Luna sped her mate’s hand and smiled at Petra, who was staring at her bump.
“Last night in the publ was drugged by this woman. I was about to lose my baby and my life. The
Doctor was able to save me at thest moment. Fortunately, I am able toe here to testify about her
crimes,” Kiara exined, concealing the truth that it had been Cole, not the Doctor, that had healed her
with a herbal remedy.
“Petra tried to kill me,” the others gasped. Kiara’s words had frightened everyone. Petra had been the
one who had been saying that Kiara and her pup were dead since the beginning.
But now that the young Luna had testified against Petra, it was evident who had been behind the entire
conspiracy. Kiara heard everyone’s murmurs and turned to confront the elders who had been acting
like d*ckheads by siding with Petra only moments ago.
“Now what I want is, the head of this woman and the people who stood against Xavier and me!” She
dered, scaring all the old wolves as they now had to prepare for the consequences of their actions.

Every word that hade out of her mouth fell on Petra’s ears like a hoarse echo from which she
could not fully understand, as her astonished eyes were still on her protruding baby bump. The
conspiracy that she had set in ce to kill Kiara and her blessed child had beenpletely ruined. The
woman who should have been buried in the grave by now, stood in front of everyone,pletely
healthy with her unborn pup! How was this fvcking”g possible?!
