57. Unexpected guest
“Yes, you had toe since I’ve called you countless times. Did you forget about my twins?” Stephen
sighed while rolling his eyes.
“Never! How could I forget my precious nephews. They are also mine, Stephen. My Alpha Princes,” the
King Renard dered, giving narrow eyes to his younger twin brother.
“Yeah… yeah… the great King Renard doesn’t have time for his family,” the old wolf countered.
brushing off his older brother’s statement, taking it as a flimsy excuse.
The level of silence that spread throughout the garden had created a peculiar sense of perplexity and
astonishment. Had they understood correctly? Xavier and Zander were the Alpha Princes?! Had elder
Stephen actually dared to roll his eyes at the Alpha King? The majority of the guests who had bowed
their heads and knelt before the royal family and the King had no idea that Renard and Stephen were
brothers nevermind twins. The time difference between the births of the Alpha brothers had only been a
few
minutes.
Everyone got to see what the Alpha King looked like today due to the fact that the solution to
someone’s problem had reached the King through his warriors. First it had gone through his Gamma,
then his Beta Low ranking individuals, tiny packs, and the general public never had the opportunity to
meet or see the King
That being said, only a few the strong and wealthy packs ever had an audience the king. The truth of
this was only known to a few key individuals, packs, and Sirius Bright Pack members. Furthermore,
both of the brothers agreed to never divulge their connection to anybody unless absolutely essential.
This made it possible for Stephen and Renard to investigate people and catch them red handed.
When their great father, the former King, was still alive, he had dered that Stephen and Renard the
Alpha kings. However, the younger brother had always thought that there should be only one King, so
he voluntarily abdicated from the throne choosing to remain in the Sirius Bright Pack while Renard
remained in the castle. Both brothers were happy and busy with their own lives, while they could see
each other a few times over the year, it just deepened their bond and affection for one another.
“Uncle!!” Iris jumped on Renard, the Alpha King, for a tight hug. She’d gone back to the pack house to
fix her makeup,pletely unaware of her great uncle’s unexpected visit.
“Oh my little princess. Where were you? I have been missing you,” The King returned her hug and
kissed her cheeks. He hadst seen her when she was 18 when she hade to reside at his castle
for a month.
“I had no clue you were going toe to the wedding, uncle. Last time you skipped Xavier’s wedding,”
she drew back whileining, but she still held his hand.
“Yes well, your uncle was very busy,” her Grandpa agreed cooly from behind, earning narrowed eyes
from his twin.
“I had previously confirmed that I had been out meeting and hunting for months so I couldn’t attend
Xavier’s wedding,”Renard exined coldly, looking for Stephen before smiling at his niece and
nephews.
“Come here boys. This old man needs to hug all of you,” while his one arm was cuddling his niece,
uncle expanded his other one arm to include the boys in his embrace.
“Uncle, thank you foring. But you missed my ceremony, “Zander chuckled, drawing himself back.
“It does appear that I am a bitte, but I will be angry if I did not receive any cake!” Renard made a
sarcastic remark while growling. His entire family burst outughing.
“You did not drink without me, right?” The King asked his twin. “I have been waiting for you. Let’s go
have some cake and some drinks,” the old wolf suggested to his
older brother.
“Yes, but first I’d like to see my new nieces-in-mate first. What has happened to them?” Renard looked
around, perplexed. He was certain that two very gorgeousdies had stood by his great nephews, but
their heads had been lowered so that he hadn’t been able to see their faces.
Xavier and Zander moved theirrge bodies away from Kiara and Adira, allowing the King to see them.
They had stepped back when their mates had been enjoying a family hug. The Alpha’srge long arms
drew their mates to them before introducing them to the Alpha King.
“Uncle, This is Adira. My mate,”
“This is Kiara. My mate,” Both of the twins smiled as they introduced their mates, but Renard had an
unusual expression on his
face.
“We are d to meet you, my king,” the alpha sisters said together with a small smile and a respectful
bow. The two she-wolves were worried, despite the fact that the King was a pleasant and polite man
when with his family members that didn’t necessarily mean that pleasant behavior would extend to
them.
Just as Kiara had no idea that Xavier had a twin brother, the same could now be said about Stephen
having an older twin brother who was identical to him. Their voices, hair, and appearance were so
simr that no one could distinguish which was the older brother and who was the younger. They were
photocopies to each other like Xavier and Zander.
The Alpha King was simrly tall and handsome like Stephen. Everyone in the Alpha family seemed to
have inherited the same stunning green eyes and deadly aura that would make anybody surrender in
their presence. When the girls did not receive the King’s expected tenderness and kind words, they
lifted their heads and looked him in the eye. His big green eyes had been fixed on Kiara and Adira for a
long time,
but he had forgotten his words. Why was he staring at them like he would attack them with his eyes?
“What’s wrong Ren? My granddaughters-in-mate are beautiful, aren’t they?” Stephen asked
proudly.
“Yes, they have Goddess-like beauty,” the other man said, smiling. Both young women returned the
mens’ smiles, but there was something odd in the Alpha King’s eyes when he took a step closer to
them to scrutinize their features attentively.
“What are your names again?” The King asked. “Kiara and Adira,” they answered, noticing a frown in
his eyes. “Sisters?” He threw another question at them that sounded like an inquiry.
“Yes,” Kiara replied immediately, her gaze drawn to Xavier. What had piqued the King’s interest in
them? He didn’t seem to like them, she thought. The older Alpha was perplexed by his uncle’s
behavior.
“Where are you two from? Who are your parents?” Renard inquired once again. Instead of questioning
the pack’s name, he wondered as to where they were from. When the King began emitting a strange
and enigmatic aura while questioning them, the Alpha sisters were concerned. Due to the fact that he
was the
King of the werewolves, he had an immediate effect on Isha and Venus. But they put on a confident
expression front in front of him.
“Is everything alright uncle?” The Alpha twins returned to their females quickly drawing them into their
sides. The garden was full of guests who were observing this unexpected and ufortable scene in
which the Lunas of the pack were being interrogated like they weremon criminals.
Observing his nephews’ overprotectiveness, the King burst outughing and shook his head.
“I’m only trying to get to know my nieces-in-mate. That’s all. Now, both of you brats, get out of here and
tell me how wonderful the Lunas are.”
Kiara blinked, suddenlyprehending that the Alpha King was also trying to put them to the test, like
Stephen had done previously. If they panicked or became terrified, they would fail the test and lose
face in front of their uncle.
“We are from the Ardara Moon Pack,” Adira said.
“We are the daughters of Alpha Sawyer and Luna Martha,” Kiara stated. They exchanged a friendly
smile with Renard. Obviously, there was some concern in their hearts since the hatred between the two
packs was likely to generate bitterness in the Alpha King’s as a result of the rape and death of the blind
girl that was part of the Alpha’s family. But, unexpectedly, the King turned out to be just as cool as
Stephen.
“Great to hear. Congrattions on the weddings and pregnancy.” The King surprised the Alpha sisters
with a kind and loving smiling. How quick his attitude changed!
“If you’re finished with the interrogation, Ren, let’s go have some drinks,” Stephen proposed.
“Yeah, sure. Lunas first,” the King suggested, gesturing to his nieces-in-mate to walk first with their
mates. The old wolf noticed that his twins’ eyes were still on both of the sisters.
The dining table where all their friends had for dinner was now crowded with rtives as well. The
King and Stephen had been sitting beside each other and had already started drinking. The King had
brought many guests with him, leading to another dinner table being set up a bit further away for them.
But everyone could still talk to each other.
Xavier, who had taken a seat next to Kiara, had been observing Renard’s Beta, Gamma and guest’st
attitude.
“Don’t you find it strange.” Zander mind-linked his twin.

“Yes, there is something unusual going on. Uncle Renard’s visit does not appear to be natural,
responded, returning the ss of wine to the table.
They maintained a vignt eye on the King’s people, who happened to be the council! Why would the
council attend a wedding? Their arrival was always a terrible omen! Didn’t they have more important
things to do than attend an Alpha Prince’s wedding?
The Alpha twins had irritated the majority of the council’s elders for a variety of reasons.
“I had no idea you were an Alpha Prince,” Kiara murmured as she sipped her water.
“It wasn’t significant since I don’t like the title. It distinguishes me, and many over reacts when they
learn about my reality and rtionship with the King. Not to mention how much I despise that title,” the
Alpha responded sluggishly.
“You hate the title or you don’t like to be pressured,” Renard snapped out of nowhere, drawing
everyone’s attention. He had heard every word that Xavier had said. Kiara became aware of a sense of
tension in the air. The Beta and Gamma couples maintained a solemn demeanor at all times. What
were
they going on about?
“Please, Uncle, put this matter aside. We don’t want to take over your position,” Zander interrupted as
he knew soon his great uncle was bound to snap at him. If this were any other time he would have
walked away but right now he was going to be on the offensive.
“I agree. As I already stated, I am satisfied being the Alpha of this pack and have no ambition to
be the Alpha King. That seat was designed specifically for you the older twin, stated. Zander
nodded immediately in agreement.
“And how much longer do you n for this old man to rule? I’m going to die one day. What will happen
then? Both of you must take up my position as soon as possible!” The King remarked sternly as
Stephen nodded along in agreement.

“Then give it to Grandpa Stephen,” Zander countered, picking up a slice of cake. “This is not the time to
joke around, kid!” Stephen red at him.
“What about Jaspen?” Xavier suggested, looking at his younger brother.
“Yes, I was thinking about him as well. He is Uncle Mason’s oldest son. He’d be the best…” Before
Zander could continue, the old wolf mmed his fist down on the table, disying his razor-sharp
fangs to both of his nephews.
“My alcoholic, gambler, and cker grandson would end up selling my entire kingdom for a bottle of
wine. A man who does not know when the sun rises and when it sets will never be a leader. I don’t
want someone that is stupid, selfish, corrupt, or reckless on the throne! I’m just interested in the two of
you, and that’s it!” The King imed while ring between them both.
“There will be no more arguments. I am, once again, prepared to give you both some time. I would like
to have a yes in response before our next family gathering,” Renard announced before Xavier or
Zander had a chance to.
“Ah, this old man. He nags us all the time!” The younger Alpha mumbled. “How can you refer to the
King as an old man? He will be offended if he hears you, “Adira hushed her
mate.
“He already heard me,” Zander responded, rming his bride, who realized that the king had been
hurling daggers at his nephew’s side. Had he actually heard what he had said? The young Luna
instantly gave him an apologetic smile on behalf of her mate, that his uncle returned immediately but he
still had a
sour expression for his disobedient nephew.
“I understand that the king’s grandson is useless, but what about the rest of his sons and grandsons?”
Adira was perplexed.
“Unfortunately, uncle’s only son and daughter-inw, as well as their 12-year-old son, were involved in
an ident ten years ago. The ne crashed. No one survived, my uncle lost them all. Only Jepsen
remains, but he is unsuited for the role Yet none of us want to steal something that legitimately belongs
to someone else. We are Grandpa Stephen’s grandchildren, therefore as long as Jepsen is alive, we
do not see the need to inherit the throne,” Zander exined quietly this time. The matter was sensitive.
Kiara noticed her Alpha sipping wine again, as if he hadn’t heard his uncle.
“You have gotten yourst warning,” she whispered again. She found the drama to be both interesting
and surprising. That’s when her man gave her a devilish grin. f**k! He looked so attractive when he did
that!
“For the past two years, the old man has given us his final warning at every family gathering. It’s fairly
common. I’m curious to learn who is paying attention. Clearly not me,” Xavier exined with a defiant
grin as he lightly pecked Kiara’s cheek.
“I wonder why you don’t want to be King? It sounds good and if it were anyone else they would
immediately cease this opportunity,” the young woman wondered, putting a cherry in her mouth. Her
stomach was already full but the cherries tasted good.
“If you be my Queen then I will think about it,” Xavier whispered into her ear, turning Kiara’s ears
red in excitement. His hot breath was so seductive! She turned her face to his side so their lips were
only a few inches apart from each other.
“I am d to learn of my new identity as Alpha Princess. I will think about bing your Queenter,
“she murmured back, moving closer to his lips like she was about to kiss him but stopped.
“I wonder when you will have the chance to think?” The Alpha asked, trying to capture those rosy red
lips.
“Tonight. In our bed,” she said. Xavier received a light kiss on his lips before Kiara returned to her
cherries with a giggle. f**k! She captivated him, making him hard in the constraints of his pants then
looked away!
The Alpha King’s gaze was flickering between the Alpha couples as everyone chatted,ughed, and
joked with each other. His gaze was drawn to the sisters, who appeared to be very in love with their
men.
“What’s the matter, Ren?” Why are you staring at the girls all the time? You’re acting oddly too,”
Stephen inquired. For a long time, he had been watching his brother.
“Something is wrong,” the King replied heavily.
“Like what?” The old wolf asked in confusion.
“I’ve seen these girls before! I’m not sure where, but I know them! Are you certain these females are
the Alpha’s daughters, as they imed?” The older twin expressed his concern.
“As far as I know, yes they are,” When the younger brother answered, the King’s Beta came up and
whispered something in his King’s ear that caused him to scowl. Before Renard could say anything,
one of the King’s elders said
“We heard something about Luna Adira and Luna Kiara. I wonder if it is true,” The garden turned into a
dead silence.
“What did you hear?” the Alpha twins snapped together, not linking the tone that the elder had
used.
“That the Luna Adira had gotten into an ident when she was young and now can’t give birth,” he
said. Zander along with everyone else was stunned to hear his im while Adira’s body turned ice
cold.
“I’m curious why you didn’t reject her straight away, instead you ept her as your Luna when you’re
fully aware of it. If that is true, you’ll be dismissed from your position if you don’t marry another she-wolf
for an heir,” another elder added.
“Is it true, Zander? Your mate can’t give birth?” The King questioned. Zander clenched his fist tightly.
Stephen, who was in the dark, examined his grandson’s face. He had been strangely silent, which was
not Zander’s style. Xavier who was also unaware of this thing, immediately felt his twin’s ferocity
through their sibling bond. It was enough for the older Alpha to understand that the ims were true.
Nevermind that he felt Kiara’s panic as well.
Kiara gazed at her sister, who was again lost in memories of the past of what she had gone through.
The kidnapping, ident, hospitalization, and everything else. Those nightmares. The pain she had
attempted to ignore, returned as soon as everyone’s questioning gaze fell on her.
What she had always been frightened of had be a reality. She knew the day woulde when
people would discover she couldn’t give birth and they would bepelled to reject each other. She
had
no idea that the day would be her wedding day. Adira felt tears in her eyes but Zander’s hand held hers
under the table.
“It is a lie. My mate can give birth,” Zander stated, surprising the young Luna. Her blue eyes snapped to
his. What did he say?! How could he lie when she had told him everything!
“How can we believe that?” One of the elders smirked. Adira’s heartbeat quickened in fear. They were
going to get caught. That was when Zander mmed his hand on the table.
“Who are you to ask me this question?! How dare you judge my mate only on the basis of her birth
giving ability? f*****g keep your d**k in your pants and stop poking it into my business or i will cut it off,”
the Alpha growled. Every elder lowered their heads in submission and fear. How could they forget that
they had been talking to an Alpha Prince, not a normal Alpha!
“Zander,” Stephen tried to calm his grandson. The Alpha looked at every questioning face furiously
then made his decision.
“I don’t give value to having children. As long as I have my mate and love in my life, I don’t need a pup.
But if everyone has a problem with it then I will step back from my position if Adira and I do not have a
pup by a certain period of time, Grandpa,” he dered.
The Alpha turned his eyes back to his Grandfather and uncle who looked worried and surprised. He
was ready to leave his Alpha position for a woman?!! Adira clutched his hand tightly under the table the
whole time trying to stop him but he ignored her. What the hell had he just said? He made this huge
statement in front of the council! Just to save her dignity he had ced his position on line?!!!
Zander turned his face to smile at Adira.
“Don’t hurt yourself to satisfy these stupid people, Adira. I am with you. We are together,” Zander
whispered, kissing her lips softly. She smiled and let her tears fall. Had she heard that correctly? This
man leave everything for her? The Alpha wiped her tears away before he broke the kiss. There was no
way he would let them see her tears. His woman was not weak and they could not hurt her!
“How dare you talk s**t in my territory and hurt my family?!” Xavier yelled angrily at all the elders. He
had also overheard their remarks regarding Kiara’s poor luck.
“Calm down, Xavier. I’ll deal with themter.” The Alpha King frowned at his subjects. He had not
expected the dirty game that they had yed under his nose. They were all annoyed at the twin
brothers because they were not ready to take the Alpha King’s position so they found this way to
release their frustration. They all shook in horror, but it didn’t make the Alpha twins feel any better.
Zander wished he could personally teach them a lesson, but he needed to be next to Adira right now.
Stephen was just as
enraged, but he let Xavier handle the situation.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t believe I can let this go. They dared to offend the Lunas of this pack. They
propagated rumors and falsely used my sister-in-mate on her special day, therefore they are no
longer wee in my pack, uncle! I promise I’ll behead those four elders if they came here again after
today.” Xavier dered, delivering a lethal re.
“Ipletely understand where you two boys areing from. They will be expelled from my pack
if they ever appear in front of the Alpha and Luna of Sirius Bright Pack in this lifetime,” Renard
announced, ordering the four elders to leave the Sirius Bright pack immediately. The King was firm in
his justice; he appreciated his nephew’s decision as those old wolves had also offended their niece-in-
mate.
After a few minutes of silence, Stephen began to talk about Xavier and Zander’s parents, and as he
and Renard recounted their childhood stories, everyone began to chat andugh. Beta and Gamma
had begun to y music for the couples to dance to. Grandfather Stephen danced with his both
granddaughters-in-mate. Everything was going well. Only one woman was worried while everyone else
was having a good time.
Laughing, Zander and Xavier turned their eyes to their sister who had her eyes locked on her brothers.
She looked a little pale.
“Alpha, there are a few guests…” One of the frightened pack members approached Xavier to notify
him. His breathing was erratic, his face was sweaty, and he looked like he was about to pass out.
“Guests? Who,” Xavier questioned. He had not been expecting anyone.
“Alpha, they are…” He stammered badly.
“It seems Iris’s mate is here. Let them in the Alpha King said out of nowhere. The twin brothers first
looked at their sister, who nodded slightly, informing them that her mate had arrived. She had sensed it
the moment he had stepped onto the pack territory. The Alphas c***d their brows and turned their gaze
to Renard.
“How do you know about Iris’ mate, uncle? You’ve only been here a few hours,” Zander wondered. She
had barely told them about him, so how could Renard have known?
“Actually, I came here not just to attend the wedding but also to fix Iris’ marriage with her mate. Her
mate and his sister approached the council and me regarding this issue. Our princess will be getting
married to her mate on the next full moon,” the King exined.
“Wait a minute! What the f**k is going on here!” Xavier growled not at the King but his eyes snapped
to his sister.
“Why would your mate go to the King and the council to marry Iris?!” The older Alpha demanded,
getting up from his seat causing his sister to flinch in fear.
“Uncle, Grandpa” Iris called Stephen and Renard for support, quickly getting up from her seat in
fear.
“What are you looking at? Look at us and answer Xavier. Your silence and your mate’s attitude in
approaching the King and council lead me to believe that your mate is either not permitted to enter our
territory or is an enemy,” Zander rose up from his seat, a grim scowl on his face. The situation began to
change as Kiara, Adira, and everyone else stood up. Iris kept quiet but was still looking at her brother
with fearful eyes. They had promised they would not get angry.
“I am asking you for thest time, Iris. Who is your Alpha mate?!” Xavier growled menacingly which
brought the younger sister to tears.
“He… he is…”
“I am Iris’s mate,” a man’s voice echoed in the garden. Iris turned to look back at her mate with teary
eyes. The poor Alpha blood stood finally revealing himself.
“Alpha Harvery!!” Stephen yelled the Alpha’s name then stared at his older brother stunned. Renard
was the only one who had known the identity of Iris’ mate, and he hadn’t told his twin. The eyes of the
Beta and Gamma couples widened in astonishment as they noticed her mate as well. Kiara and Adira
stared at their soulmates, whose expression had darkened with rage. Who exactly was this Alpha?
“You have to be f*****g joking with me, Iris!” Xavier chuckled in fury, walking angrily towards her mate.
“You are joking!!!” Iris saw her brother’s wse out of his nails. He was going to kill Harvery! He
was going to kill her mate!
“No brother! Please, dont!” She cried, standing like a shield in front of Harvery, but Zander’s hand
reached out to draw his sister back into his secure embrace before Xavier clutched Harvery’s neck.
This bastard son of a b***h had entrapped their innocent sister!!
“How dare you enter my territory!!” Xavier roared, punching him in the face and breaking his nose.
Kiara screamed in terror and ran over to stop her mate before he murdered his sister’s mate, who was
sobbing and pleading with her brothers to let her mate go.
“Who is he, Jennifer?” Adira ran to the Beta female to find out the identity of the unknown Alpha. “He is
soon to be Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack. Alpha Roman’s son,” She replied.
The young Luna did not have time to react before she turned her eyes to her sister. Just as Kiara
reached for the Alpha’s hand a tall beautiful she-wolf entered the garden.
Dean growled loudly in Xavier’s head as the Alpha and his wolf detected a familiar and incredibly
repulsive smell. The woman’s high heels were the first to appear in front of him. When Xavier lifted his
eyes to view the woman, his heartbeat quickened and his green eyes widened.
“Hello Xavier,” she smiled.
