50. Hell and Darkness.
The loud and sharp sound made by one’s weightbined with the terror caused by losing control
over one’s body, was payathyising for Adira for a few seconds until she was able to recover control of
her body. When she opened her eyes in a panic, she found herself in the depths of a river after a failed
attempt
to breathe.

under the water? What if he needed her? She couldn’t possibly leave without him.
There was nothing but darkness, she couldn’t even smell him because they were in the water, which
was a huge disadvantage. But she had the uneasy feeling that he was still close by. He hadn’t
abandoned her. She could feel him. It may have been her mistake, but her heart refused to leave this
river without Zander, even if she was running out of time and needed to get to the surface for some
oxygen. But if she went up, Zander wouldn’t have enough time to get out if he was still in the water.
Without a second thought, the young she-wolf began to swim further down into the water, as it was the
one spot she hadn’t looked for him. Death would be better than living without him!
She called him through the mind-link as she swam deeper and deeper until she saw arge figures
being drawn deeper into the river. The young she-wolf’s body had turned colder than the river when
she realized that Zander’s eyes were closed. He had not been trying to swim either. He was
unconscious?
