CHAPTER 24- MISS BEE IS ACTING STRANGE
Jack dusted off his shirt clean panting as the man was seen seated on the main chair as he casually
wiped blood off his dagger. He threw a nonchnt gaze at the corpse lying next to him on the floor
whom he had just killed by stabbing it right through his side neck. The man was none other than
another Mafia leader who had been meddling with his businesstely; even though Ryan and Jack
were here to ''peace'' talk and negotiate with him the gangster, after getting some powers, became too
arrogant to be disciplined. Since he was being disobedient and kept on challenging Ryan the young
man didn’t hesitate to take his life and show him why he was the king and not him.
Ryan was the youngest heir to take over the family business, he did it when he was just 19 when he
took his father’s ce after the man got bed ridden after a gang sh. Big Master Neguyen’s
subordinates at first doubted his judgement and were opposite to Ryan reign as he was still young,
some even prospected that he will bring their rule to an end. But not only thed prove them wrong but
also managed to make a stronger rule; he expanded the family business to maind Asia and
Australia, technically ruling the underground kingdom. He emerged as the lord and there was no
country where he didn’t establish himself.
Climbing to such a peak was not an easy bet; he had to remove many thrones off his way to be where
he was today. He wasn’t afraid of going to extremes to achieve what he wanted; with a heart made of
stone he was not a man of mercy. In the period of his rule he had eliminated so many rivals and
everyone who he felt likely to be a troublemaker that his hands reeked of blood.
He was born ruthless and this quality of his supported him in life, at least in his business. He stood up
from the step and looked down at the dead man who had got himself and the floor dyed in blood. His

lips curled up into a cold grin as he pressed his shoe on the man’s face with such pressure as if he
wanted to break through his skull.
While Ryan was busy ying with his head Jack walked up to his Boss and asked, "What next, Ryan?"
Ryan kicked the head lightly and said, "We are done with work, aren''t we?"
Jack nodded, "The main works are done and the remaining are all nut jobs." "Good, let''s head back to
the hotel and rest." Ryan said silently. Jack bloomed with happiness; they had been working like ox till
yesterday evening sacrificing sleep and rest. The work that was scheduled for a week was pulled out
by Ryan over night. He kept himself busy,cking time even to stand and breath. Along with him
tormented was Jack, the both were running errands and now finally the work was done.
It was already nearing afternoon and two had had nothing sincest night; they were surviving over
several cups of coffee. Now that the demon king has finally let him free to go and have rest the
assistant couldn''t think of anything else than scrumptious meal and sleep on his cozy bed.
"Clean this up and join me to lunch." Saying this Ryan started takingrge strides out of the building.
Jack made a call and soon his men were here who started doing their chore; making sure that
everything was well instructed Jack too followed Ryan out. The two drove the five star hotel where they
had their rooms booked and got off the car.
The two took a shower in their respective room before walking out to order lunch in the restaurant.
Ryan was ying with his phone while Jack was going through the menu to order something for
himself, he looked at Ryan and asked, "Hey, what do you want to eat?"
"Anything!" Ryan replied without looking up at him and continued to do his work with his phone. Jack
called the waiter and ordered for both of them. The food was served soon; Jack was very hungry as the
good started to look extra delicious to him. His stomach roared as the warm aroma hit his nose. He
drooled slightly and unable to keep himself sitting anymore he arrange the tissues and picked up his
fork.
"Oh My Goodness, I think I will eat till I go broke." Hemented. Ryan looked at him seriously and
said, "You remind me of someone!" Jack supported his chin and asked, "Really! Who does this
handsome face of mine remind you about."
"Pig." Ryan looked at him as he spat a single word. Jack''s face fell as he pointed his fork at him, "Can
you just shut up."
Ryan too was just about to lock his phone when his ringtone started to echo in the room. Seeing that
the call was from home he showed his palm to Jack who stopped talking at once.
Ryan answered the call and got greeted by the maid. He replied with a grunt and the woman started to
speak, "Master, Miss Bee has refused to eat!"
Tension started clouding between his eyebrows as he asked, "What happened to her?" The maid
replied, "She woke upte and has her spirits low since morning; did you make her unhappy, Young
Master."
"When did you see me talking to her to make her upset?" Ryan''s tone was as cold as iceberg when he
that''s not what I meant, Young Master. But Miss Bee looks really sad... I am out of clue about what
should be done!"
Ryan balled his fist involuntarily as he spat, "If I was supposed to tell you this then what the hell for am
I paying you four fools?" Obvious anger danced across his face and sitting before him Jack too started
to get worried. The maids were rendered speechless, why were they getting scolded? She stayed mum
as she was just too afraid to say another word.
"Let me talk to her." Ryanmanded and the maids went running upstairs to summon Bee down to
talk to him.
