Dharani POV

''Angel ! Angel please save me!'' I heard Akash calling me in fire and my whole body was shaking.
God! Please save my Akash !
"Damn it Dharani. Wake up!" I heard bhai voice said sharply and shook my shoulders.
Suddenly I opened my eyes. I gasped and shivered in panic. I sat down immediately, fear knotted
inside me. I was feeling so lost and disoriented. Ritika and brother sat in front of me.
"What happened? Where is my Akash? please take me to my Akash, please" I said while crying
vigorously.
"Dharani first you rx and take a deep breath" Ritika said trying to console me.
"No Ritika. How can I rx when my Akash is not with me? Brother please take me to the ident
spot right now", I ordered him sternly
"Dharani please try to understand. Today early morning, I went to the ident spot with the rescue
team and police. We can''t find him. We even checked the waterfalls but we only can find some of his
car parts. There was no one under water. We checked the mountain and road area thinking he must
have survived it and made it out in the road but we have no clue. We can''t even find his body because
of car st" Avinash brother said.
"What do you mean by you couldn''t find him or his body?" I asked. My tears fell one after the other. I
couldn''t cope up with what I was hearing.
Suddenly Avinash brother phone starting ringing.
"What?? Please stop the telecast. Don''t create unnecessary news. Because of your news Akash''s
father got heart attack" brother shouted angrily and hung up the phone.
What??? Dad got heart attack?
God! Why are you punishing us?
"Brother, what happened to dad?" I asked him.
"Nothing to worry Dharani. Just a minor heart attack because of ident news. Now uncle is fine and
your Shanthi maa is taking care of him ",He said to me.
"Brother who called you now?" I asked him.
"Inspector informed me that there is some news on Tv about Akash ident" Brother said nervously.
"I quickly switched on the television to only gasp in shock.
News was shing on each and every channel and the news channels were filled with images of Akash
written '' Mr.Akash Mehra Died in ident.''
I just kept watching the tv without saying anything. I stared at the tv but Ritika switched it off and
hugged me.
"Ritika" I said choking back to cry. I was trembling as the news and Akash ident images built in my
mind. Then I threw my arms around Ritika and cried.
"Don''t worry Dharani, everything will be alright" Ritika said and she gave me a ss of water. Ritika''s
phone rang and I looked at her while she talked.
"No I can''te now please try to understand my situation, my friend needs me now" she said and
hung up the phone.
"Ritika what happened?" I asked her and she told me that she has an important meeting now. I told her
go to office.
"Ritika I''m fine because I know my heart says Akash is alive. My husband is a strong man. He can''t live
without his angel. He is okay wherever he is. I just know it." I said to her and Ritika finally agreed and
went to her office .
"Can you help me? Please take me to hospital. I want to see Akash dad" I asked brother.
"No Dharani, you are very weak. I can''t take you there. You need to takeplete rest now but if you
want, I can go and check on uncle" brother said to me and I nodded ''ok''. Then, he went to Hospital.
I slowly stood up from my bed and went to my house temple. I stood infront of god idol and lit the diya
in temple and prayed.
''Please god, I am asking you to protect my husband. I believe you. Please return my husband to me. I
can''t live without him anymore. I will be patient and wait for my husband. Now it''s your responsibility to
help my husband reach me. It''s your job now. I leave it in your hands, god.''
"Dear god, please help me to see my husband" I prayed.
After praying I opened my eyes and sat on floor while looking at god idol. Suddenly a red flower fell on
myp.
I understood god''s answer me indirectly.
''MY HUSBAND IS SAFE!''
I smiled at my god idol and closed my eyes and slept.
Someone shook me,"Dharani wake up." I opened my eyes to see Ritika sitting beside me on floor.
"Dharani, you look awful. Did you eat anything? I was worried about you. So Ipleted my work soon
and came to see you." Hearing this I couldn''t keep up. I broke out crying.
"I miss him Ritika. I want to have strength. I trust my god but I want to see him, hear that he is alright..."
I cried.
"Shhh! You trust your god? Then he will find your husband. You didn''t eat since morning. Now its time
7:30 p.m. Come I will make dinner for you" Ritika told.
I am very lucky to have Ritika as my friend.
Then Ritika prepared dinner and bhai also arrived. He informed me that dad is fine now and Shanthi
maa is taking good care of dad. Then bhai told me that tomorrow police wants to investigate me

regarding the ident. We ate our dinner. Avinash brother is staying here with me but Ritika told me
she has to go to her home. I was on my bed lying sleepless. I prayed to kanha ji ''please return my
husband to me soon.''
Then I took Akash''s photo from the night stand and kissed his image.
''I wish I knew a magic spell to bring you here. I wish I could teleport myself so we could be near. I wish
I could turn back to time so I wouldn''t have let you leave. I wish you wouldn''t leave me like this all
alone, it''s the most painful feeling I''ve ever fell. Only the heavens know my plight, when I don''t have
you in my sight.''

"I miss you so much. Pleasee back to your angel" I hugged his photo frame tightly to my chest and
cried vigorously. Then drifted into sleep.
Next day morning police came to our house. They investigated me about the ident. I told them
about our car break failure and how Akash pushed me on road and his car fall down the cliff.
Then inspector asked me whether I suspect someone.
"Yes! I have doubt on my tauji because he threatened me two days before saying that he will ruin my
life" I told inspector and brother looked at me with shock.
"Dharani, why didn''t you told me my dad threatened you? Brother asked me when the police left. I told
him what happened in the party.
"I am ashamed of calling them as my family. How can they stoop so low?" bhai punched the wall in
anger and his hand was bleeding. I gasped in shock.
"Avinash, are you mad?" Ritika said wrapping her duppata around his hand while crying.
"Shhh Ritika, please don''t cry" Brother said wiping her tears and I looked at them with my wide eyes.
Avinash brother and Ritika?? When did this happen?
''They look cute together" I thought looking at them.
They are so lost in each other. I went to my bedroom not wanting to disturb them. Iid on my bed
thinking about Akash.
"Come to me Akash. Your angel needs you" I said hugging his shirt and drifted into sleep.
Three days passed by and still no sign of him. I was worried like hell.
Ritika came to meet me daily. She makes sure that I eat at least twice a day. I didn''t pay attention to my
health. I knew Ritika and brother were thinking about my health. Brother took leave and stayed with me
the whole time taking care of me.
Suddenly Avinash brother phone started ringing.
"Yes Sir. Really? This is great news. Now I got a little hope that Akash is alive" brother words caught
my attention.
"What happened?" I asked him curiously.
"Dharani, inspector told me that they have found Akash cell phone signal near the forest highway road.
It''s in the opposite direction to the cliff. So they informed me. They are spreading out to search him"
brother said.
Hearing this, my eyes became teary.
"This is great news to us" Ritika said while arranging breakfast on dining table.
"I told you naa bhai, my Akash is alive. He can''t leave me like this" I said crying.
"Shhh don''t cry Dharani! I am also going to search for Akash. Take care, ok? I wille back with your
Akash" brother said.
"Please find him soon" I said.
"I will try my best Dharani. Trust me ok?" Brother said.
"I trust you brother" I said and bhai hurriedly left the home.
God please help and send my husband to me soon.
I sat on the sofa. "Dharani please have some food. You look terrible. You need to have strength. If your
husbandes and sees you like this, he will feel bad. So atleast for Akash sake, you have to eat well
and take care of yourself" Ritika said while bringing breakfast to me.
"Hmm you''re right. If my Akash sees me like this, he will definitely feel bad. So I will eat for him" I said
and ate my breakfast.
"Ritika you go office" I told her after eating my breakfast.
"Will you be okay Dharani?" She asked me worried.
"Yeah I will be okay" I told her and she left to her office. I sighed sitting alone in the dining room. We
were so happy together a few days ago and now??
I got up and made my way towards the kitchen. I looked at the burnt wall. It was that time when Akash
cooked.
I hope Avinash brother finds him soon. I want to see him now. I hope he is fine.
I looked at the photo of him in the living hall. "Akash pleasee back to your angel" I said crying
Then suddenly I heard the door bell ring.
I think that''s my Akash?? I thought happily and ran fast to the door with wide smile on my face. But
when I opened the door my smile faded and was reced with terror. In front of me was a horrible
nightmare.
"Missed me?" he asked with a dangerous glint in his eyes.
"Y... you?" I shutter nervously.
God! Who will save me now? Please Akash,e back soon and save your angel!!
