    Dharani POV


    One week flew by easily and today is the day we have to submit the presentation to Mr.Knight. His son


    is alsoing to see our presentation. Yesterday, Akash asked me to deliver the presentation. I was


    very scared. In fact, I literally begged him. Even so, he gives me strength and helped me a lot on giving


    a sessful presentation. However, I am a bit nervous. I know it''s a very important deal, and we want


    it to be sessful at any cost. He helped me to practice giving presentation. He suggested some tips


    to improve myself.


    I was in my thoughts when I heard my cabin door opening. Akash stood in the door.


    "Angel, ready to go?" he asked.


    "Yes" I said to him nervously.


    "Don''t be nervous. I am there for you, and I am sure you won''t let me down. I trust you" he said to me.


    "I will never break your trust Akash" I said looking into his eyes.


    "All the best angel" Akash kissed my forehead making me smile. I adjusted my hair and white zer,


    before we walked into the meeting room.


    We both stood in front of the long table in the meeting room, waiting for everyone, as they wereing


    in one after the other.


    Yes...I was definitely nervous but I was also determined to nail this presentation because for my


    husband.


    Finally, Mr.Knight''s, his son and his daughter walked in and headed straight to his seat in the head on


    the table which was directly in front of me. I took a look around and saw everyone seated.


    I took a deep breathe and rxed myself. I started my presentation. I proceeded with the presentation


    by showing some slides. I described the design in which stone work held the important ce of the


    jewellery and how it gives a traditional and unique look. Then I switch on the projector. I exined each


    and every design that appeared at the screen. I exined the designs and colours rted to the


    jewellery and how it gives attention to the bride.


    "And that is all I made for this presentation" I finished with a smile as I ended the presentation. As soon


    as I finished it, there was a round of apuse for me. I saw Akash''s eyes shining with pride, which


    made me smile.


    "Good job Mrs. Mehra!" Mr.Knight said, and I thanked him softly.


    "Thanks for designing the amazing jewellery for me" Mr.Knight daughter, Ms. Mia Knight congratted


    me.


    "Congrattions Mam"Aman shook his hand with mine. Soon the meeting hall was empty as everyone


    moved out congratting me, and I was politely smiling at them.


    All I was honestly looking forward, was to speak with my husband and share my happiness with him.


    He is the sole reason for my happiness and my respect today.


    Suddenly, Mr.Knight''s son came to me.


    "Hi I''m Vincent. Vincent Knight. Nice meeting you. You did the great job!" Vincent smiled at me. I smiled


    back.


    "Hi, I''m Dharani. Nice meeting you too Mr .knight" I said to him.


    "You are beautiful Ms.Dharani and oh, please call me Vincent" he said as he kissed my hand.


    Idiot!  How can he kiss me like that? This creepy guy!! If Akash sees this, what will he think about me?


    "It''s Mrs.Dharani Akash Mehra, not Ms.Dharani" I heard cold voice behind me and I saw Akash staring


    at him with his burning red eyes. He held me by my waist as he came closer.


    Vincent kept looking at me from top to bottom. I felt ufortable and moved in a little to Akash.


    "You got a really beautiful wife Mr.Mehra" Vincentmented. Akash tightened his grip around me. I


    can see he is trying his best to control his anger.


    "If your talks are over Vince, can I talk to Mr.Mehra?" I heard Mr.Knight, Vincent dad''s voice.


    Thanks god!


    "Mr.Mehra, I want you to arrange a fashion show for this jewellery design within two days. I will


    rmend you some models." Mr.Knight said to Akash.


    "Sure Mr.Knight, we will arrange for a fashion show day after tomorrow" Akash replied.


    "Ok Mr.Mehra. Vince, can we leave?" Mr.Knight asked his son.


    "Yeah, sure dad. Let''s leave" He gave me onest look before leaving. I signed and turned to Akash.


    Before I could say anything, Akash grabbed my arm and pulled me out along with him. He kept walking


    fast, and I tried to walk fast along with him.


    "Akash, slow please," He turned to looking at me. His eyes softened.


    "I am sorry. I just... I got angry when he was looking at you that way! I exactly want to kill him right


    now!" he shouted angrily.


    "It''s okay. Calm down Akash, please" I tried tofort him while walking to his cabin. Finally, we are


    inside his cabin.


    "How can I? That bloody! He kissed your hand! I can''t tolerate it. You are only mine and I have every


    right over you. You are my wife. You are my angel. You are only mine, understand!" he shouted and


    pulled me to him. His hands were around my waist holding me in a tight grip. I shivered in his arm


    remembering the past Akash.


    "I am not some possession Akash. I am also a human, and I too have feelings" I said with tears flowing


    down my eyes.


    How can he say that I am only his? Only he has been right over me? I ept that he is my husband,


    but I am not an object to be owned by someone. I am a human, and he should respect my feelings too.


    I didn''t like his possessive character. I heard Akash taking in a deep breath.


    "I am sorry angel, if I scared you. I know you are neither an object nor possession to be owned to be


    me. You are my world. You are my everything. Please forgive this idiot husband of yours." He said


    pleadingly.


    My tears were continuously rolling down my cheeks. I was very happy to give my best in the


    presentation. I wanted to hug him and thank him, but I didn''t except my happiness to live this short.


    "Angel, please say something" Akash pleaded.


    "I don''t like it when you behave like the past Akash" I said pouting.


    "Ok. I promise I will never behave like that again. Please forgive me for onest time" he said and


    kissed my pout. I blushed lightly.


    "So, am I forgiven?"he asked hopefully.


    "Yes" I nodded my head and smiled.


    "You did a fabulous job Angel! I am very proud of you!" he smiled at me.


    "Thanks to you. Its because of you that I did without any fear" I said to him.


    "Anything for my angel. So let''s party!" he told.


    "Party?" I asked.


    "Yeah, let''s go out for dinner" he said.


    "No. no. Today I will make your favorite dish for dinner" I said.


    "But angel ...." I cut him off.


    "No but and ifs. I will make dinner today at our home, and that''s final" I ordered him.


    "You look so hot, when you order me like this. I loved it" he said trying to kiss my lips, but I tilted my


    head and his kissnded on my cheek.


    "Akash, behave. This is the office. Anyone may enter here" I said to him looking around.


    "Oh ok. So you have no problem when I continue this in our home, right?" he grinned, and I blushed.


    "God!  You are unbelievable." I pushed him little and ran to my cabin hearing hisughter behind.


    Soon we finished our office work and left the building.


    We entered home. I went into the kitchen to make Akash''s favorite dish. I want to thank him for trusting


    me. Today I sessfully give the presentation, and I didn''t break his trust. Last week, we went to the


    restaurant, and he told me about his likes and dislikes. So now I know his preferred food. So I am going


    to prepare his preferred food mushroom po and Egg mas and dessert chocte cake. I hope he


    likes it.


    I finished making the po and egg mas and now I am baking the cake. I am adding some cashew,


    pista to the chocte flour and mixing it with my hand. My hair is disturbing me, and I am blowing it but


    still it is again falling down my face.


    "Angel, what are you doing?" I heard Akash voice.


    "I am baking chocte cake for you" I said to him. He watched me with some unreadable emotion in


    his eyes.


    "What happened Akash? Are you okay?" I asked him.


    "Yes, I am fine. Mom always bakes chocte cake for me when I was a kid. I miss my mom" Tears


    slipped from his eyes. I don''t know what took over me by seeing his tears, I wiped his tears


    immediately with my hands and stunned looking at him.


    OMG! What did I do?


    I wiped his face in my chocte cream hands and now cream smeared in his face. I am continuously


    looking at him with fear.


    "Angel, why are looking at me like that?" he asked.


    "Woah actually Ak... Akash, your face" I stammered. He touches his face and was shocked.


    "Angel, you applied cream on my face?" he asked.


    "What? No, that was an ident" I answered him immediately.


    "But you have to get a punishment for this" he said and tugged my hand.


    I bumped into his hard-rock chest. He came slowly came into my face and kept my hair back in its


    position. He touched his cream cheek with my cheek. I closed my eyes tightly because I can''t see


    directly into his eyes. I can''t handle those butterflies in my stomach. He started brushing his face to


    mine. His closeness is affecting me very badly. Then he slowly kissed my forehead, nose and I think


    next he will kiss me on my lips. I was waiting for his lips to im mine, but I can''t sense any movement.


    My lips are still waiting, but he is not kissing me. I slowly opened my eyes, and he is not here. I am


    standing all alone in this kitchen. He left me, and I felt to disappoint and rejected.


    ''But why Dharani? Why do you feel disappointed and rejected? You don''t love him, right? Then why?''


    my inner voice asked me.


    ''I don''t know'' I answered.


    ''Are you falling in love with him Dharani?'' my inner voice asked.


    ''No, no, I don''t love him. How can I easily forget what he did to me in the past?'' I yelled at my inner


    voice.


    ''So when he did not kiss, why you feel sad? You don''t love him right? Then why did you let him kiss


    you? You don''t trust him. Now that''s final'' I said sternly.


    ''Ok ok, now you don''t love him, I agree. However, soon you will realize your love.'' my inner voice


    replied.

    I sighed and continued baking the cake. After 20 minutes, I finished it.


    I arranged the dinner on the dining table and went into the bedroom to take a shower. When I reached


    the bedroom, Akash wasn''t here. Where is he? Even so, I thanked kana ji that he is not here because I


    don''t want to face him now.


    Uff, oh not again Dharani! I went into the bathroom to take a hot shower leaving behind my thoughts.


    Akash POV

    I heard water running sound from the bathroom. I think angel is taking a shower. I felt very bad when I


    left her kitchen like that.


    Because I am afraid. If I kiss her, then I may not be able to control myself. I don''t want to hurt her. I


    don''t want to take advantage of her innocence because today I want to make her mine, so badly.


    Today''s morning incident shed into my mind. When my angel was giving the presentation, exining


    about the jewellery design beautifully, this Vincent guy was giving her lustful looks every now and then.


    He even kissed my angel hand creepily, shing his stupid smile to my angel. I was almost going to


    punch him, but Mr.knight''s entry stopped me from doing that.


    When he left, Vincent again looked at my angel onest time, from head to toe. That''s the point I lost


    my control. I dragged my angel to my cabin and started shouting at her though it''s not her fault. Then I


    realized my mistake, and I promised her that I will never behave like that again. Now in the kitchen,


    when she was baking cake for me, I got emotional remembering my mom who left me in between.


    However, now I am not alone. My angel is there for me. Then suddenly the emotional surrounding


    turned into a romantic one. I want her so badly but only if she equally wanted me. Only when she


    epts me with love, I will make her minepletely. That''s the reason I left her like that and went to


    our bedroom balcony.


    I went to bed and sat when she came out of the washroom. She looked at me with some emotions in


    her eyes which unfortunately I can''t pin point correctly.


    Angel was wearing a simple pink saree. How can she look beautiful in a simple saree, without any


    makeup?


    ''Because she is an angel!'' my mind voice answered.


    ''Yes, she is'' I agreed to my mind voice.


    Then we went to the dinning table, and she served me my favorite dish, mushroom po and egg


    mas. I remembered telling her my favouritesst week.


    A smile crept on my lips. We ate inplete silence. This silence was suffocating me because we


    always talk while eating.


    "Angel, the food is so delicious. Thank you" I started the conversation but she just simply smiled.


    "Angel, tomorrow is Sunday. So how about we go shopping?" I asked her.


    "Why do we have to go shopping? I think you are losing your memory. You already brought me so


    much that if I want anything, I will just go to my closet and will buy it. I mean to take it" she taunted me.


    Damn! I embarrassed myself.


    "So, how about we continue watching conjuring movies?" I asked her. She suddenly spilled the water


    on table and started coughing.


    Oh god! I can''t control myughter looking at her horror-stricken face. I burst outughing. She red


    at me, with her big doe eyes.


    "Did you get to know that I was scared?" she asked innocently.


    "Yes, I knew you were scared but your were very stubborn to ept it. So I pretended to be scared and


    asked you to switch it off." She smiled at me sheepishly.


    "Angel, never try to hide anything from me. Your fear, your confusion, your happiness, your hurt, your


    pain. Please share with me everything. I am always here for you, ok?" I looked at her. She is in some


    deep thoughts. I, not wanting to disturb her, so I stood up and went to the kitchen and spotted the


    chocte cake waiting for me in the counter. I took it in my hands and started eating it. Chocte


    melted in my mouth.


    Wow! It''s so delicious!


    Angel entered the kitchen and started washing the dishes while I stood there admiring her. Then we


    went into our room. She started removing her bangles and earrings. I can feel something is bothering


    her. Before I could ask her anything, she suddenly started screaming.


    "Ahaaaaaaaaaa Akash!!" She screamed.
