Chapter 50- Grandma''s sacrifice

    The moment Sajal pulled the trigger I thought that today is thest day of mine in this world. I was


    ready to take the bullet. But, I was a little bit rxed thinking that Meher is fine. I thought that Sajal is


    here to harm Meher.


    But, before the bullet could pierce through my heart, a person came in front of me suddenly. Everything


    happened so quickly that I became bewildered for some time.


    The person was shot by Sajal and the person fell on the road. I yelled loudly at the top of my lungs,"


    Dadi................."


    Yes, the person is none other than my grandma. I thought she has left the city. I don''t know from where


    she came and saved me.


    " Dadi, why you did this? I asked her lifting up her head a little. I can see the blood running from her


    chest. I saw her teary eyes but satisfied face. I looked at Sajal and found her already dead.


    Tears started flowing from my eyes. I know my grandma isn''t a Saint. But, I can''t just see her like that.


    She is the one who took care of me and Haniya while our parents left this world. She is the reason that


    I am now a sessful person.

    " Dadi! Just why you saved me!!! I yelled loudly and hugged her body tightly. It''s the third time I am


    crying like that. I cried like a crazy person for the first time while my parents died. The second was


    when I heard that Meher is no more. And the third one is now.


    " Don''t leave your Sahu. I beg you. Please, Dadi. Open your eyes," I said hugging her body tightly. I still


    can feel her blood on my chest.


    I heard Meher''s crying voice saying," Sehreyar, control yourself."


    I replied with my teary eyes looking at Meher," She left me.....My only guardian left me alone."


    Meher rested her one hand on my shoulder and tried to console me. But, nothing can soothe the pain


    which I am feeling now. I have just lost one of my precious persons.


    " Dadi........." I yelled loudly looking at the sky while I heard Meher''s crying voice and consoling words.

    Sehreyar and his whole family have just finished the funeral of his grandma and Sajal. Meher and


    Adeel are also here consoling their spouse.


    Everyone is now sitting in the hall room of the house wearing white colour dresses. The crying sound is


    echoing throughout the whole room.


    Sehreyar is crying silently and his eyes arepletely red due to excessive crying. Meher isn''t leaving


    Sehreyar''s hand even for a second. She is doing all this for the sake of humanity. Somewhat she is


    very guilty for falsely using Sehreyar''s Dadi of hurting Mehrab.


    On the other hand, Haniya is screaming like a crazy person. She is calling her Dadi repeatedly and


    searching for her. Her grandma''s death has left a big scar on her heart. Adeel is trying his best to


    console Haniya. He is patting her back repeatedly to console her. He is now holding her in his embrace


    who is crying none stop.


    Everyone is still crying when an angry middle-aged man entered the hall room. He is none other than


    Sajal''s father Mr Abbas.


    He looked at Sehreyar with his angry tearful eyes and marched towards him with full rage. He held


    Sehreyar''s cor and stood him up on his feet. His action shocked everyone.


    " You are the reason behind my daughter''s death and my mother''s death," Abbas screamed on


    Sehreyar''s face.


    Sehreyar didn''t say anything because he ispletely numb from inside. His Dadi''s face is shing in


    front of him repeatedly making him more helpless.


    Abbas again barked on Sehreyar''s face crying," My daughter only wanted your love. She had loved you


    truly. But, you are a monster who didn''t value her true love. Everything happened because of you. I lost


    my only child because of you."


    This time Meher couldn''t control herself anymore. She forcefully freed Sehreyar from Abbas''s clutch.


    She stood in front of Sehreyar like a shield.


    " You can''t just me him for your daughter''s one-sided love. Everything happened because of your


    daughter''s immaturity. Sorry to say, but your daughter is responsible for her own death," Meher said to


    Abbas sternly and everyone looked at her with disbelief.


    Especially, Sehreyar is amused and surprised seeing Meher''s supporting side.


    Abbas seethed at Meher," You don''t have any right to talk between us."


    " Of course, I have. I am Sehreyar''s wife and I won''t tolerate it if someone uses my husband


    falsely," Meher replied directly.


    Abbas tried to say something when Meher started saying," Everyone forced Sehreyar to marry Sajal


    where he wasn''t ready for that marriage from the very first. He told many times that he doesn''t love


    Sajal. But, still, everyone forced him into a loveless marriage. Your daughter''s death is the result of her


    unhealthy obsession for Sehreyar. And somehow you are also responsible for your daughter''s death.

    " Mind yournguage," Abbas yelled on Meher so angrily like he will eat her alive anytime.


    Meher replied without any fear," Truth always hurts. I will again tell you that your daughter is


    responsible for her own death and her grandma''s death. Don''t me Sehreyar unnecessarily."


    " You bi........." Abbas tried to say something when Sehreyar looked at him with his nk eyes and


    warned," You can say whatever you want to say about me. But, don''t you dare to say anything to my


    wife."


    Hearing Sehreyar, Abbas lost his full control over his anger and said loudly," I curse you Sehreyar. I


    curse you that you will never find true love. I hope a day wille when you will also crave for true love


    just the way my daughter craved for your love but you will not get it. I curse you."


    Everyone became dumbfounded hearing Abbas''s words. They are not understanding how they should


    react.


    After Saying all these, Abbas left the room wiping his tears. He was very affectionate towards Sehreyar.


    But, after Sajal''s divorce with Sehreyar, his rtionship with Sehreyar became worst.


    Sehreyar is now standing like a statue after hearing Abbas. He is now totally numb and looking at the


    door from where Abbas just left.


    " Don''t worry," Sehreyar heard Meher''s soft consoling voice.


    Sehreyar asked Meher without any emotion," Am I really responsible for everything?"


    " No. You are not," Meher replied assuring Sehreyar.


    But, Meher said mentally," yes, you are responsible for everything and you are going to be destroyed


    very soon."
