At Morning
Meher''s p.o.v
I wake up from my sleep and felt that someone is hugging me from behind. It''s none other than him. It''s
Sehreyar Sir.
He is sleeping resting his face in the crook of my neck. He has rested his one hand on my stomach. I
can easily say that he is sleeping peacefully.
Last night what happened to him that he became so generous. He didn''t force me to have sex with me.
I am really grateful for that.
I tried toe out from his grip but he is hugging me very tightly. I touched his hand and something
metallic touched my skin. I looked at his hand and the metallic thing was his engagement ring.
I don''t know why I felt very bad after seeing the engagement ring. I felt that my eyes are bing
blurry due to tears.
What''s this feeling? I shouldn''t have felt like that. But, still, why did I feel very sad. He is not my lover
nor my husband. Nor I love him and nor he loves me. Then, why I am feeling too much hurt?
Looking at the ring I remembered everything. I remembered what happened 7 months ago with me and
my family. I remembered how I became his mistress.

I am at my school''s graduation party. Today I havepleted my high school with the highest grade. I
am very happy about everything. I can''t wait to share my feelings with my brothers.
I am very busy with my friends making fun with them.
Suddenly, my friend Neha said to me," Meher, after this party you have toe with me to my house.
We are going to have a girl''s party there. My parents are out of town. So, I am at home alone. It will be
too much fun. I have told Pritika and Tanvi as well."
" ok. I will attend the party after changing my clothes in my house," I replied sipping the orange juice.
Neha said pouting," Come on yarr( friend). You don''t have to change your clothes. We are directly
going to my house."
Seeing her pouting I couldn''t refuse her and said that I wille with her.
After the graduation party, we went to Neha''s house for a party.
Neha is now busy decorating her room with some dark lighting. Pritika and Tanvi is also helping her. I
also helped them.
I was feeling a little bit bored. So, I thought to watch TV for some time. I took the remote in my hand
and started watching TV.
I am changing the channel when a news channel caught my attention.
I heard the reporter saying," A few moments ago police have arrested the famous billionaire Adeel
Ahmed Khan in charge of murder."
Hearing the news the remote fell from my hand and my eyes became widened in too much shock. My
brother is a murderer!! No, that''s not possible.
I heard the reporter again saying," Adeel Ahmed Khan is arrested by police in the usation of
murdering another businessman Amir Al Saad."
Then the reporter again said," Adeel Ahmed Khan is taken to police custody. Currently, he is in central
jail. Very soon his trial will be started."
Hearing all this I became numb for some time. This is not true. My brother can''t do all this. My brother
can''t be a murderer.
I stood up from the couch and run towards the main door to leave Neha''s house. I heard her calling my
name but I didn''t listen to her.
Coming out of her house I took a taxi and started my journey to the police station.
After 30 minutes car ride I reached there and requested the inspector to let me meet my brother.
The inspector permitted me and took me to the jail room where my brother was taken.
I saw him sitting on a bench lowering his head. I said crying," Adeel Bhaiya!"
He looked at me and said worriedly," Meher, what are you doing here?"
I hold his hand and said crying," Bhaiya, what''s happening? I saw the news on TV. I know you didn''t do
anything."
He caressed my cheek and said affectionately," Don''t worry. I wille out of jail very soon because I
am innocent. I didn''t do anything wrong."
" I know that you are innocent. Bhaiya, how will you manage everything? And how everything
happened? I asked him panicking.
He said patting my head," You don''t have to worry about everything. My PA Arham has started taking
care of my case. You just go to the house and rest. Tell Asif to not to worry as well. Tell him to not stop
his school because of all the chaos."
I nodded my head in positive and said crying," But, Bhaiya. How will you live here? In this jail room."
" Meher, listen to me. Look at me," Bhaiya said cupping my face in his palms.
I looked at him with my teary eyes. He said lovingly," Your Bhaiya wille out of the jail very soon.
Just keep your trust in Ah. Ok?
I just nodded my head and he said smiling," That''s my sister. Now, go to the house and rest. Don''t
worry about everything."
Next-Day Morning

Meher woke up from her sleep a littlete because she had sleptte at night. She was very worried
about her brother.
She came downstairs after doing her morning routine and found that breakfast is already served on the
table. Asif has already left for school.
She started having breakfast but couldn''t eat properly because her whole mind is upied by her
brother.
She will take another bite from the toast when the doorbell rang. She wondered who hase at this
hour.
A maid opened the door and found that 4 people are standing in the door. They all are wearing suits
and looking like they are any kind of high profile officials.
Meher came forward and asked confusingly," Umm yes. Whom do you want to meet?"
One of them showed his Id card to Meher and said with a professional voice," We are from Ie Tax
unit. We have information that ''Mr Adeel Ahmed Khan '' has made this house with ck money."
Meher isn''t understanding what are they talking about. She asked confusingly," What are you talking
about? What ck money?"
" We have more information that apart from thepany Adeel Ahmed''s every property is bought by
illegal resources. Moreover, we have other information that Adeel Ahmed Khan is corrupted and
involved in illegal businesses," Another one informed.
Hearing everything Meher be dumbfounded. She is looking at those officials with an open mouth
when they handed her some documents.
One of them said professionally," We have order from the government to seize Adeel Ahmed''s every
property along with his bank bnce."
" No, every property of our is legal. This can''t be true. You might be mistaken," Meher replied nervously.
She isn''t understanding why ie tax officers are in her house suddenly.
One of the officials replied," We have every proof of Adeel Ahmed khan being a corrupted person."
Meher replied worriedly," I don''t believe all this. You all are lying."
" It doesn''t matter what you think. We are giving two days to leave this house because this house is
seized already," One of the official replied.
Before Meher could utter another word the officials left her house hanging a notice on her door.
Meher isn''t understanding what she should do. Everything happened so fast that Meher became
bewildered for some time.
Meher thought to Adeel in the jail to ask him about all this. Only Adeel can give her answer of all this.
" But, Bhaiya is already in jail. He might be very worried right now. It will not be right to tell him about all
this," Meher thought in her mind. Her innocent mind isn''t understanding what''s her brother had done.
Suddenly, she remembered about Adeel''s PA Arham. He might help her in this situation. He might
know about all this ie tax thing.
Without thinking anything further, Meher got ready. She knew that Arham is obviously in theirpany
as her brother is in jail. Arham is obviously taking care of theirpany in the absence of Adeel.
Meher got into one of her brother''s car and after 20 minutes car ride she is now in front of her brother''s
But, seeing the scenery in front of her she became shocked.
The employees of theirpany are holding a procession in front of thepany building and saying
only one thing in unison," Give back our rights. We want our sry."
She also found that Arham is trying very hard to convince the employees about something but the
