Deirdre was distracted from her thoughts. She was about to get up when Brendan took the lead to
open the door and saw the bellboy standing at the door.

Brendan turned his head to take a nce at Deirdre. It was bad for her to stay in the room frequently,

scared of an unscrupulous man like Gillian. However, I think that he won’t take action on me so openly
in your presence. As long as it doesn''t affect my safety, there''s nothing to be afraid of.”
Brendan''s gaze turned gentle. He rapidly took a sip of the liquor to return his face to its prior coldness.
