Without waiting for Jalen to continue speaking, ina immediately said, “Mr. Halton, if you do not want
to see me, I will avoid you that day. I guarantee that you won’t see me.”
As the host of the banquet, it was understandable that Jalen did not want to see her. No one wanted to
see someone who scolded him.
