ina was sure that Jalen was talking to her.
But she wasn’t used to the questioning tone and words.
“Answer me. Will you ept any other man except me?” Jalen asked again. His voice sounded cold
and even
a little angry.
ina couldn’t help butugh. She looked at Jalen with interest. “Mr. Halton, are you questioning me?
Who
are you to me?”
Jalen was silent.
“I’m afraid you’re used to being in a higher position, so you speak in amanding tone to everyone.
Is that
so?
“Unfortunately, I am not your subordinate, and I have no obligation to answer your question.”
When the words were finished, the elevator arrived. ina took the lead and stepped in without any
intention
of staying with Jalen.

Suddenly, the lights went out, and the surroundings instantly fell into darkness. And the elevator
stopped.
“What? Seriously?” ina was helpless. She patted the elevator button, but there was no response.
She took out her cell phone, turned on the shlight, and pressed the emergency button with the weak

power.”
