Bring Your A Game Mr Chapter 1049-It was but a moment, yet to Alicia, it felt like an eternity. She saw
the hurt and heartbreak in Narissa’s eyes, and it sliced her heart to pieces, tearing the remnants of her
dignity apart. “I’m sorry.”
Unable to face anyone, Alicia let go of Jamie and escaped into her room like a scared kitten. Despite
the short journey, she still managed to bump into the doorframe, and it bruised her shoulder. Yet, she
ignored the pain and quickly closed the door. Only when darkness had engulfed her could she heave a
sigh of relief. She leaned on the door and slowly slid to the ground.
It was still silent outside. A long whileter, Narissa finally moved. She made her way to Jamie and
easily held him around his shoulder. Calmly, she moved to the elevator. When she passed by Zephyr,
she hissed, “Do not tell this to anyone. Not a soul.”
He took a deep breath and looked away. “I’m not much for gossip. I saw nothing.”
Narissa didn’t seem to hear that. She made her way to the elevator and stopped. Quietly, she said,
“Thank you.” And then, she took Jamie into the elevator.
Zephyr looked at the ground. He muttered, “Sweet dreams, though I wonder if you can even sleep
tonight.” After that, he went back into his room.
Narissa came back to the second floor. Just when she was about to enter her room, she noticed
someone talking in Room 206, so she turned around to check things out.
Danny and Ariel were on the sofa, and they were covered in robes. One was massaging their forehead
while the other was poking their temples. Maverick was lying beside Danny, wearing nothing but a shirt
and a pair of boxers. He was still out cold. A roll of nket slept on the long sofa beside him, revealing
a pair of women’s feet facing the door. On the table were bottles of mineral water brought by Ariel. Irvin
was fiddling with a test tube, and it nged with another. It seems chaotic.
“You guys arete.” Noticing Narissa holding Jamie, Elise asked worriedly, “Is he alright?”
Narissa looked at Jamie calmly. “He’s alright.” A pauseter, she looked into the room. “What
happened?”
Irvin was done with his experiment. He held up a test tube and answered, “Hallucinogen. Almost every
single bottle is tampered with.”
Danny gave Maverick a hard kick. “You b*stard. You did the same thingst time! That’s it. You’re
losing your d*ck. I don’t want you to harass Ariel anymore. You’re really getting it this time!”
“Ahem.” Elise cleared her throat. “He was going after you, actually.”
“Sorry?” Danny gave Elise a look of bewilderment.
“If it weren’t for Mommy and me, you would’ve been vited, Uncle Danny,” added Irvin.
Danny went silent for a moment. Then, he went to the kitchen and came back with a knife. He stared at
Maverick with nothing but murder in his eyes.
Worried that he might kill Maverick, Ariel took the knife away. “Don’t dirty your hands.”
“What about that woman?” asked Elise.
Danny heaved a sigh in frustration. “She’s Alicia’s friend. I have no idea why she’s here. Gave her two
bottles before. She probably drank some. Or maybe Maverick screwed her. I came back with Danny,
and she was already there. Must be rted to Maverick or something,” said Ariel.
Danny froze upon hearing that. “We should see Alicia. She might be drugged as well. Don’t want
anyone to do anything to her.”
Coldly, Narissa said, “She’s fine.”
Danny paused for a moment and looked at her. “How do you know?”
“Met her on my way back. She was fine,” Narissa spoke calmly. Too calmly.
With that, she left with Jamie. So, that’s what happened. Alicia and Jamie were drugged. Then, they
had sex for some reason. She was already in a rut and didn’t want to see anyone for the moment, so
she left.
Odd. Narissa loves to find out the freshest gossip. What happened to her? Well, she might not want to
talk, so I should leave her to it. “What now?” She turned to the other people.
Danny red at Maverick. “Call Zephyr. We need to neuter this guy. He’s a menace.”
“Are you sure Zephyr can do that?” I’m worried for him. Zephyr, I mean.
“He’s a doctor. As long as Maverick doesn’t die, it’s alright. Even if he does die, he deserves it.” Danny
wanted results. He couldn’t care less about the process. This b*stard almost vited me. I’d have
skinned him alive. He’s lucky he’s getting off with surgery. And one operated by Zephyr, no less.
Elise and Irvin were speechless.
Only Ariel was processing the whole case. “Rntha’s room is right across. Maverick wouldn’t have
cheated on her so brazenly. She must have been drugged as well. Can you unlock that door for me,
Irvin?”
“Sure thing.” The boy had taken over the lock system. All he had to do was type in the number, and the
door would unlock.
Ariel went inside and saw Rntha sleeping soundly. She pushed Rntha for a bit, yet the woman
didn’t stir.
“So, honey… Found anything?” Danny craned his neck.
Ariel left the room and grinned. “I wonder what’ll happen to Maverick if Rntha sees him sleeping with
another woman.”
“She might cut his d*ck off?” Man, that might actually happen. Ooh, I see! He pped happily. “I see.
Will be back in a jiff.”
Ariel supervised the operation. Maverick was already going to cheat anyway, so they changed the spot
and his partner. He’ll deal with the problems himself.

Jamie woke up when it was nearly afternoon the next day. He saw Narissa sitting on the windowsill,
and he massaged his head. “We went on for a whilest night.” He sat up. “You’re up early.”
“I didn’t sleep.” Narissa sat by the window the whole night.
Jamie sobered up a little upon hearing her answer. “Is something the matter? Did I hurt you? Sorry, I
had no idea what I was doing, so… I’m really sorry if I hurt you.”
