    He said to Cindy, “Even though those things were done by your mother and sister, and I didn’t know about them, it doesn’t mean I’m not responsible.”


    “It was my negligence that caused your suffering.” Joshua rke said heavily, “I’ve been an ipetent father and let you be wronged.”


    Cindy didn’t respond; she didn’t want to say more, nor did she want to feel wronged.


    Anyhow, saying anything more was just a waste of breath.
