    “I’ve never intended to hide my rtionship with Cindy,” Adrian said openly.


    “Cindy got where she is on her own merits, and there’s nothing to hide between us. The more you try to hide something, the more it seems like there’s something to be ashamed of, right?”


    Adrian’s honest and upright attitude made Ian seem even more sneaky andcking in openness byparison.


    Gerald Young saw the situation and hurried over, pulling Ian away to chase after Eleanor Ward.


    It was better not to have a deadlock here.

    She didn’t want to be like the other people in her hometown who likely would never know how wonderful the outside world was and would always live an ignorant life there.
