    Enna rk pulled open the drawer, threw the note inside, and closed it again.

    A call came in.


    She looked around, making sure no one was paying attention to her, then quickly stood up, answered the phone, and walked to the window…


    “Hello? What’s up?”


    “Can’t I call you for no reason?” Baron Lawrence’s tone wasn’t very good, he ominously stressed, “Enna rk, don’t forget what you promised me yesterday! ”


    “…” What did she promise him yesterday?

    Enna only came out of her stupor when she heard the busy tone from the other end of the line.

    She looked at the time, it was exactly 9:30, peak hours for work. The secretaries of the President’s office had arrived. If she entered his office in front of those people, she could imagine what kind of gossip would circte in thepany tomorrow.
