—A huge turmoil had broken out among the audience.


    One of the fan favourite and supposedly excellent ss-2 had lost, beaten by clever tactics of ss-24.


    With this, a huge majority of the audience were sure ss-24 would probably be one of the new winners.


    However their expectations were once again overturned. The unexpected encounter with ss-1 nearlypletely technically, saving one, wiped out ss-24''s entire raid squad. Then, when the leader thought he made it back to his base , ss-45''s leader appeared with all the fanfare and at the end cut him down.


    Ultimately, they ended up taking the seat to secondst ranking—7th position.


    The air in the audience seat had already been simmering when ss-2 got thest ranking, but this time, itpletely detonated like a big explosion.


    It wasn''t just the audience, Cass and Stephen simrly showed a look of rare excitement, their voice hitting the highest octave till it reached a cracking point.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

    "Here it is, the mads of ss-45 actually did it! The simmering discord underneath their act of alliance had been secret to no one, but that sabotage couldn''t have happened at any more bad timing for ss-24!"


    "What could it be if not for the charm of the high-stakes battlefield! However, that''s probably the first step they gotta take to cement their seat in this blcck!!"


    "Meanwhile ss-15 and ss-58 are almost at the verge of getting their ticket cut for the elimination! Standing at the steep precipice, they can only pick their knife to survive from here! But wow, the advanced jobs have shown why they are the peak of the peak!"


    "It''s unbelievable, too unexpected, and too preposterous to ears but here we are, who would have thought we would be seeing advanced jobs already! She was like a goddess of war, yet the beholder of a beauty too, deflecting the entire allied force''s offense and keeping them at bay, all alone!     "You know what, I think we sure can have a detailed chat on itter but putting that fool aside, we have a movement here! The defense squad of ss-1 has lunged at ss-58''s base! And oh my, have a look at the south-west direction! ss-15, too, has been under attack, but this time by Smiling Machos!"


    "Hey, hey, Stephen-kun, you''re mixing the alias! It''s ?Smiling Celestine? and ?Machos?! However it seems we have reached the breaking point of the game!! ss-1 has finally decided to take up their arms seriously—not that they never had been! Is it finally the moment for all sses to openly go at each other’s throat in a royal rumbleeee!!?”


    —*Rummmmble!!!!*


    A thunderous roar of excitement rose from the audience sitting in the audience stand, and afar, as the match reached its climax, shaking the whole stadium.


    It was yet another major move from ss-1.


    The squad led by Celestine mounted an attack on ss-15. Meanwhile, ss-15 had only left 5 members on their base. There had been no apparatus to capture their voice, but there was no doubt their base must have been seeing a galore of scream at the sight of the approaching line-up of Machos.


    Meanwhile, the defense squad of ss-1—it was a team of six members, which included Lana, Sierra, Lulu, Emi, Sachi and Yuuka—had departed tounch an attack on ss-58, a payback for their earlier visit. They''d made their decision after hearing from Karua that ''ss-1 has no enemy in sight, while abination of ss-45, ss-99 and ss-116 were in the midst of their march toward the ss-24.


    Their reasoning was that since ss-58 was located straight on their back, they could always make a run to their base if any danger approached. Thus, with an excited Lana at their vanguard, they made their way toward ss-58''s base.


    The first to fall was ss-58, cing them on the sixth pedestal in their block. Soon after was the ss-15 turn as Celestine and ?Machos? decimated their base, transferring them to 5th ce.


    Being the destroyer of two bases, and having reaped all the guardian monsters present, ss-1 took the throne of No.1 with a total of whooping 780 points.


    However the movement of ss-1 continued.


    Zephyr team in the south showed another series of action.


    Half of the sses had been eliminated, leaving the other half behind. And three out of them had teamed up together, a force to reckon with that would probably have ss-1 take another look at the situation before tackling them at once.


    Zephyr thought so too, and instead made a sneaky move while the other sses were in the dark, deprived of information—he aimed for their base, moving along a huge mountain in a clockwise direction. This was his masterstroke n.


    His first target was ss-45, the one that was closest to them, to catch them by surprise attack. The n was to bring their base down before the ss returned back. If pulled well, they could bring down the allied force to their knees.


    After all, they no longer had any rival in the arena. Even if by chance they couldn''t bring down the base before their return, he and the team could take the way along the mountain range to get their way out and target ss-99 instead.


    Moving to ss-45, their only fallback was they hadn''t counted ss-1 would take a stab at them while they''re away. Gin''s foremost task was to take down ss-24 first of all. For all it matter, he couldn''t underestimate Starkeus''s intellect. Better nip out the problem there was still time than to have a headache dealing with themter.


    Meanwhile, most of thepetitors—ss-24, ss-15, and ss-58—were just inches away from being eliminated. Among them, thetter two sses were surely the spoils of ss-1. So Gin estimated ss-1 would make their move immediately lest anyone got benefit of their effort.


    He had contemted what if ss-1 chases after ss-24 as well. After all, they had already wiped out 14 of their members, so what was stopping them now? But he eventually ruled it out. Like, a chance encounter and raiding the base were two different matters. He didn''t believe they would chase after ss-24. Usually, one would regain their breathing, prepare themselves before eventually trailing after them.


    Someone must deliver the final blow to ss-24. He wanted to make sure of that and thus brought the other two sses with him. It was all better if ss-1 was going to target ss-15 and ss-58, that would be a trouble to be saved from. But, if ss-1 did end up chasing after them, then the triforce alliance would surely act as determinant.


    He thought they would make good work of ss-24''s base and immediately move back to their base. With that, ss-45 would surely be hogging 2nd rank undoubtedly. Heck, he even had wild fantasies; what if the umted points actually push them to the top. While ss-99 and ss-116 should be more than happy to have 3rd and 4th rank.


    Gin''s strategy surely wasn''t bad by any means. He believed so—until he heard ss-1 hade to raid their base.


    "We have a big problem, Gin! It''s ss-1! They''re at our base!"


    "—Haaa. W-what did you say who''s at our base?! No, no, how could it be!!"


    The news had just reached his ear when, teleportation circle appeared beneath the feet of ss-45''s members. It was to deport them out. In other words, it implies their base was no more.


    Gin stared at the teleportation circle with an incredulous expression and raged.


    "No, no, noooooooo!! Are you kidding——!"


    A momentter, starting with leader Gin, the entire party of ss-45 disappeared.


    The instant it happened—the audience wentpletely nuts with their exmation and excitement.


    It was a situation out of their wild dream. The high-ranking sses, the one who should have been at the top, only made it to the bottom barrel and above it at best, saving the ss-1.
