All eyes were now focused on me.

“Theo, remember what you promised the elders council and Lord Tombull. You’ve got to go. Plus Lyra is waiting at home for you.”

“I know,” Chris said, then I heard him call some others “Nath, Jon. Duke… please take him home. The elders are going to behead you if you let him get anywhere <b>near </b>her.”
I leaned back against the wall, sighing in relief as they <b>drag </b><b>him </b><b>away</b>, cursing them for manhandling him.
Screw Theo. Screw the mate attraction that I still <b>have </b>for him. Screw <b>the </b>drama and free entertainment we just provided for those people in there. No doubt there will be plenty of talks for everybody by Monday. It will soon be all over school.

“Actually, he messed things up with you big time. I can’t imagine living without your mate, and knowing that it was your fault that you are not with her… If you were mine, I won’t give you up for the world!
I turned to look at Adam.
