Chen Jiu, the old man with a mountain-goatee, the bald-headed old man wearing yellow robes, and Xue Ying all flew together towards the Crimson Rock Mountain.
"Xue Ying, from this point forward, we’ll be brothers in arms. You probably don’t even know the names of Uncle Fu and Old Thief right here, am I correct?" Chen Jiuughed. "Haha, I’ll introduce you to them first. Old Thief over here is also known as Chen Gu. Meanwhile, Uncle Fu’s actual name is Chen Fu."
Chen Gu, the old man with the mountain-goatee,ughed. "You can just call me Old Thief in the future."
"Greetings, brother Dong Bo Xue Ying. You can just call me Chen Fu." The bald old man with yellow robes wore a lopsided grin. "I’ll be troubling you for assistance once we enter Crimson Rock Mountain."
Xue Ying replied, "Chen Fu, Old Thief, we live together and die together. Let us help one another when we can."
Chen Jiu, Chen Gu, Chen Fu…were they from the same n?
Xue Ying found this interesting to note.
Chen Jiu smiled. "They are both people of my manor, where I grew up since I was young. Naturally, we all share the same n name of ‘Chen.’"
"I truly admire your manor to have had so many experts emerge from it," Xue Ying praised. "There are truly too few experts in my entire Xia n."
"That’s not exactly it," Chen Jiu began as they flew along. "The material world is quite different from the Deity world, in that it is much easier to be Transcendent in the Deity world. That’s why there are many more experts within."
"Our Flying Sword Mountain Manor is quite famous even in the Deity world. Several hundred of our members are Demigods, and two are even Deities. In truth, the Manor Master didn’t have to personallye here and risk his life." Chen Gu shook his head.
Xue Ying was bbergasted at the thought of that.
Several hundred Demigods? Two Deities? Chen Jiu was also the Manor Master?
"Our Flying Sword Mountain Manor is currently facing a huge threat, and it might be annihted in a single day and night. Because of that, I decided to seek the support of a powerful World Deity and willingly take such a huge risk for his sake." Chen Jiu shook his head. "Indeed,pared to a mortal world, the Deity world is countless times bigger, but…even my Flying Sword Mountain Manor could simply end up being annihted if certain people were to covet it. I only came here and epted to risk my life because that powerful World Deity promised to ensure the protection of my manor for a period of ten thousand years! As they traversed the dark void, they adopted a rtively slow pace of flight. They were not in any particr rush, especially considering this was Xue Ying’s team. This was the first time they they actually got to talk. Naturally, they were left behind by the others.
Chen Jiu was aware of this position but made noment on it. "Transcendents of mortal worlds who be Deities may have several breakthroughs before reaching an age of ten thousand years! If one reaches the peak stage of the Deity realm, they’ll be able to refine the mortal world’s World Core! If an expert manages to refine it before being forced to leave the world, that entire world will be their territory! At that point, the expert may live forever in that mortal world, and they would be referred to as its Lord—the Lord of a material world!"
"Refining a mortal world? Bing a peak stage Deity within ten thousand years and sessfully refining the World Core?" Xue Ying rified his doubts. "Is it that formidable and special to be considered the Lord of a material world?"
Of the many ancestors of the Xia n who entered the Deity world, only three were sessful in reaching the peak stage of the Deity realm! Not only that, all of those three were only able to do so after entering the Deity world and having some fortuitous encounters.
"Very formidable!"
Chen Jiu continued his exnation, "All those who are able to achieve such things within ten thousand years are truly unfathomable characters. Considering theirprehension abilities, they are all certain to reach the World Deity realm after going to the Deity world! The Sorcerer God might still be young, but he’s already a magnificent existence who reached the World Deity realm! You must understand…topare a World Deity to an ordinary Deity is likeparing a Transcendent to a mortal."
Xue Ying lightly nodded.
"Once an experts bes a Lord, their next step is attaining a avatar cultivation technique! By then, they could cultivate an avatar to send on adventures in the Deity world while the true body remained safely in their hometown." Chen Jiu sighed. "Doing this, the expert can assure his absolute safety! Not even those powerful existences in the Deity world may forcibly descend into the material world. As such, being the Lord of a material world…essentially means that one cannot die! Even if the avatar adventuring in the outside world were to perish, the expert could simply cultivate another to rece it, while their true body remains safe from harm.

"These material world Lords usually have a special status in the Deity world. "And the Sorcerer God is precisely one of such Lords!" Chen Jiu finished.
Xue Ying felt his heart getting heavy.
"The countless mortal worlds are what make up the material world, and thews of the entire material world create an incredibly powerful force of repulsion! Although many powerful existences of the Deity world are proficient in their control of space, this force of repulsion makes it nigh impossible for them to send Transcendents into the material world," Chen Jiu rified. "The Temporal Temple alone is able to send Transcendents into mortal worlds, and even then, they can only transfer Transcendents below the Deity level! It is fundamentally impossible even for them to send a Deity to the material world!
"Who could possibly kill a World Deity located in a mortal worldpletely refined by him?" Chen Jiu continued. "The Sorcerer God can be considered essentially invincible. Considering that an existence of his level dared n such a war…it’s quite certain there will be devastating consequences."
Xue Ying lightly nodded.
Chen Jiu also treated Xue Ying as his life and deathrade, which was why he shared these things with him.
It’s a pity. Xue Ying sighed inwardly.
While many Deities had emerged from the Xia n over the years, it was simply too difficult to reach the peak stage of the Deity realm and then refine the World Core in just ten thousand years. None of them had managed to achieve such a feat.
If someone had aplished such a thing, the Xia n would have truly been fortified. In such a state, what superpower would even be qualified to plot against them?

Chatting the entire way, Chen Jiu, his two servants, and Xue Ying finally reached the boundary of Crimson Rock Mountain.
Xue Ying first looked up to see the towering Crimson Rock Mountain before him, its peak not even visible, and then turned around to look at the woman in the distance wearing silver-white robes—Xue Ying’s wife! Together with her were Pce Head Chen, Chi Qiu Bai, Si Kong Yang, Mountain Lord He, City Lady Bu, and other Demigods standing by.
"I’ll certainly return," Xue Ying said to himself and promptly turned around.
"Let’s enter."
Xue Ying’s team was the veryst to enter of the four. They took their first steps on the stone path up Crimson Rock Mountain, gingerly moving forward. Crimson Rock Mountain was presently emitting intense heat from its whole surface, while red-hot waves formed every now and then as well as those terrifying bouts of me! Those mes would always spurt through the chinks between the mountain rocks, however, so they could be seen in advance.
As long as they were careful and remained alert, observing the surroundings for any scars, it was essentially impossible for them to be so unlucky as to be affected.
Not too long passed before Chen Jiu, Xue Ying, and the other two finally reached the end of the stone path.
A huge ck door bounded at the sides by mysterious golden seals currently stood before them. Once more, the door boomed open. Inside were the three teams which had long since entered.
"Let’s go inside." Xue Ying no longer looked back as he passed through the ck door along with the others.

The ck door closed once again.

"We’re in."
After passing through the door, the booming sound of it shutting behind them sounded out.
Xue Ying, Chen Jiu and the other two looked forward to see Wu Ma Hai’s team, the Meishan n Master’s team, and the golden-robed teenager Jian Huang’s team all currently standing still by the side.
Looking further forward…there was a vast ind, and beyond it still was an endless starry sky!
The sky was bright, with the countless stars that filled it blinking, moving, and constantly changing their trajectories.
