    Chapter 48 I Need To Talk To You


    Darren grew angry all of a sudden.


    Why was ire surrounded by men wherever she went? First, she was with a mysterious old man, and


    was with Nathan after that.Now, she was chatting with another man.


    And they were different kinds of men.


    "Darren..."


    Sierra’s voice snapped Darren out of his thoughts.She smiled gratefully, thinking she had finally


    received his love.


    "I''m so happy you invested in this film for me.It makes me feel special."


    Darren was annoyed.


    "It''s just a normal business investment.Don''t think too much about it."


    Sierra was taken aback.


    Weldon and Enzo cast quizzical looks at each other.


    An eerie silence prevailed; the air was thick with tension.


    "I have something to do, so I won''t dy the filming" said Darren.


    With that, he shook off Sierra''s hand and turned to leave.However, Sierra hurriedly stopped him.


    "Darren!"


    Darren''s jaw clenched and unclenched with displeasure.


    "There''s a show in the music hall this weekend.Do you have the time to go with me?" she asked,


    forcing a smile.


    "My schedule this weekend..."


    Before he could finish his words, Sierra quickly stepped forward and held his hand.She had a hunch he


    would refuse.


    "Just do it for our baby," she said, batting her eyshes.


    "Music is supposed to be good for the fetus.Can you please apany me?"


    After a moment''s hesitation, Darren reluctantly nodded.


    Then, he gently unsped Sierra’s hand, walked to a corner and stopped in front of ire.


    ire stopped talking with Cecil and looked at Darren.


    Cecil smiled and reached out his hand.


    "Nice to meet you, Mr.Sampson.I''m..."


    "I need to talk to you."


    Darren looked at ire, ignoring Cecil.


    "Let''s talk then."


    ire crossed her legs while looking at him.


    Seeing she didn''t want to stand up, Darren looked around and said, "It''s not convenient to talk here.I


    have booked a table nearby."


    ire didn''t move from her chair.She didn''t want to go with him.


    However, she noticed Sierra staring at her, anger zing in her eyes.


    Therefore, ire changed her mind.


    "Okay, let''s go."

    After the two left, the crew broke into a hushed whisper.


    "Wow, what''s going on?"


    "I''ll spill the tea.He has left his girlfriend behind and gone out with his ex- wife."


    "Will Mr.Sampson and ire rekindle their rtionship?"


    Sierra stood there in embarrassment, listening to the discussions around her.She clenched her fists,


    and her nails sank into her flesh.


    Anger surged through her veins.


    ire followed Darren out of everyone''s sight.She only wanted to annoy Sierra and wasn''t interested in


    sitting down and chatting with Darren.


    They had nothing to talk about, so she turned to leave.


    However, Darren immediately grabbed her arm.


    "Where are you going?"


    "Oh, well, I suddenly don''t feel like talking with you."


    ire shrugged indifferently.


    Darren took a deep breath and dragged her to the nearest cafe.


    "Hey! What are you doing?"


    ire shouted.


    All the guests in the cafe stopped and looked at them.


    ire didn''t want to make a scene, so she stopped struggling and followed Darren to an empty table.


    The waiter soon handed them the menu, and Darren ordered two cups of coffee.


    The waiter nodded and walked away.


    ire crossed her arms over her chest and red at Darren, waiting for him to speak.
