    Cheng Yuxiu’s face went pale in a second. She held on tight to her phone and couldn’t say a single

    Bai Hongfei began to panic. “Yuxiu, pleasee and see me. If there’s any misunderstandings, we

    such a thing. She was feeling sad suddenly.

    if she was done.

    “You can’t go out, you are too weak,” the nurse chided.

    me.”


    “But you…”


    “It’s fine. I’ll take care of myself. Besides, I won’t be gone for long.”


    Before the nurse could finish what she was going to say, Cheng Yuxiu cut her off and told her that Zong


    Qifeng gave her permission to go out. However, the nurse was still reluctant to let her out. “You can’t


    walk if you want your child to survive.”


    Cheng Yuxiu felt troubled. How was she going to go out if she couldn’t walk?

    safe and healthy.”

    Cheng Yuxiu lowered her head. “I’m not used to this.”


    “It looks like I’ve been neglecting you. I’lle and see you more often from now on,” he said, before


    adding, “For the sake of our child.”


    They arrived at the car park downstairs. Zong Qifeng gently ced her down on the backseat of the car


    and buckled up her seatbelt for her. When he turned around to look at her, Cheng Yuxiu immediately


    pushed herself upright against her seat.


    Zong Qifeng gave her a look without saying anything. He closed the door and slid into the driver’s seat


    in front then started the engine.


    Reversing the car into the main road, he turned around and asked, “Where is it?”


    “The train station,” Cheng Yuxiu said. Cheng Yuwen and Bai Hongfei had called her right after they got


    off the train, and since they didn’t know anyone in B City, they decided to wait at the exit of the train


    station for the time being.


    “Is it your brother?” Zong Qifeng asked.


    Cheng Yuxiu felt anxious, and she sped her hands together tightly. “Yeah…”
