Chapter 62 High-Pressure Water Gun

The electric eel, which was now fifty meters long, had a faster swimming speed and was also able to produce a slightly higher voltage. Besides stimting the pituitary nd every morning, Chen Fan also had a routine where he used some spare time before sleep for training the eel to swim faster. If he didn’t do so, wouldn’t it be exhausted to death if it needed to swim to the North pole or South pole someday?
Chen Fan also put in quite a lot effort in finding a hiding ce for the electric eel. Its usual hiding ce was on a muddy seabed at a water depth of 100 meters where he used the electric eel’s ws to dig arge hole with a diameter of 70 meters to 80 meters.
Swimming out of the soft, muddy seabed into the diving area, Chen Fan nced at the GPS that restored its signal, turned direction and swam towards Vietnam. ording to the static pressure form, one atmospheric pressure was equivalent to 10.03 meters water depth. In other words, for every 10 meters of increase in water depth, about one atmospheric pressure was increased. An ordinary stic lighter can withstand about five atmospheric pressure, so a reinforced water-resistant GPS would easily be able to withstand the atmospheric pressure of more than a dozen atmospheres.
Going to Vietnam was not far but it wasn’t near either. The closest part of Vietnam is just at the country’s borders whereas the furthest part is equivalent to going across the whole country. The distance from Zhongyun city to Vietnam is about a few hundred nautical miles which is slightly further than the distance to Japan. With the electric eel’s current speed, it would take about three days including the time to stop and rest.
Out of Zhongyun city, Chen Fan’s electric eel avatar swam straight towards the south, and it was ready to cross the straits of Taiwan, passing by Macau, Hong Kong, and eventually reach Vietnam.
After swimming non-stop for the whole night, the electric eel avatar reached the waters of Ningde in Fujian province at eight o ’clock the next morning. After finding a secluded coral reef to hide in, Chen Fan faced some problems.
The average water depth of the straits of Taiwan was more than 80 meters and had a width of more than 100 kilometers. However, this area had a monitoring system that was more rare than any in the whole world. This was the seafloor sonar detection system that prevented submarines from any country to pass by. (The deeper the submarine, the more undetectable it would be, but the average water depth here was only a little more than 80 meters!)
After thinking for a long time, Chen Fan decided to swim around this area when it got dark. Although the passive sonar system could not detect the electric eel, if someone initiated the active sonar system, the body of the electric eel, which was about 50 meters long, would be considered a small submarine! After stopping his control on the electric eel avatar, Chen Fan got up to the living room and found out that Wang Bing hade back secretly without being noticed, and he was lying on the sofa sleeping soundly.
"Let’s see who can sleep longer." Chen Fan muttered, went to the kitchen to make something to eat went back to sleep.
When he woke up in the afternoon, Chen Fan told Wang Bing, "I will be in my room for the next two days so that I can reach level 50 in the game. There’s nothing to do anyway, so I’ll just let you have a few days off!"
Wang Bing was in ecstasy right after he heard this. After shouting, "Boss, you’re the best", he threw the car keys aside and dashed out of the door. Although he was already quite far away, Chen Fan could still hear him whispering, "My God, I finally have the chance to go to ’Victoria’!"
When Chen Fan shifted his consciousness back to the electric eel avatar once again, he filled the belly of the electric eel, swam around the straits of Taiwan and swam towards Paracel Inds from the top part of Philippines. It took him a day and a half to reach Paracel Inds, and Chen Fan searched for miles around the ocean floor, but he couldn’t find a suitable hiding ce. After hesitating for a moment, he controlled the electric eel to just lie on the sandy seabed.
Even without using the electromaic induction to sense his surroundings, Chen Fan was not afraid, because as far as he was concerned, there was nothing in the ocean that had a length of more than 50 meters. Thergest recorded world record was the 33.5 meter long blue whale.

In the vast South China seas, the southernmost Paracel inds were close to Vietnam’s Zhongjian ind.
A third year, primary school, Chinese textbook had such a sentence written on it to describe how exquisite the Paracel inds are: ’There are so many different kinds of fish in the waters of Paracel inds. It’s true when people say that Paracel’s sea isprised of half water and half fish.’
The natural tropical fishing grounds not only attracted many fishermen, but also numerous ’bandits’ from the neighboring countries.
A blue painted, Hainan 1765 fishing boat that had a pair of thick nylon ropes tied behind it was dragging along a 20 meter long boat. Its diesel engine sizzled as it moved several miles per hour.
"Brother Wang, judging by the efficiency of this diesel engine, we could catch at least a few tons of fish!" Sitting on a small stool, a young man who wore a shirt that had ’Bai Xiang instant noodles’ printed on it, spoke in a Hainanese dialect.
"Yeah, if it wasn’t for the small size of the boat, we would be able to earn a minimum of tens of thousands RMB." The man who was known as brother Wang puffed out some smoke and replied while gripping the ship’s steering wheel without turning around.
"If we save up enough money in two years time, we can upgrade to a bigger boat, and we’ll be able to live a wealthy life for a few months!"
"Stop daydreaming. Retrieve the and see if we can catch another of fish before the sky gets dark." Brother Wang turned off the diesel engine, and wiped his sweat with the towel that hung around his neck.
"Brother Wang, look at that boat!" The young man pointed to a new, blue colored fishing boat which was 180 meters long with white cabins. "We’ll buy that boat when we have enough money. With that boat, we could easily make a fortune!" said the young man.
"Bullshit, that boat would cost us millions. Even if you sell off your wife and son, you couldn’t afford it. "Brother Chen replied cold-heartedly, "Get yourself to work as I can’t wait to watch my TV show in the evening."
"Ok." The young man shouted and went to the back deck. With him and brother Chen on each side, they turned the gear to retrieve the fishing.
"Brother Chen, if our ship was that big, wouldn’t we be busy pulling up the for the whole day?"
"That is a machine which is 40 meters wide and 80 meters long. Casting it out and pulling it back is all automated by machines, and if they’re lucky, it could pull up 20 to 30 tons of fish, not like ours," said Brother Wang sadly as he looked at the fishing boat that was getting closer and closer.
Suddenly, brother Wang looked at the fishing boat and his eyes widened. He let go of the steering quickly and started rubbing his eyes.
Brother Wang jerked up and said, "Damn. That is a Vietnamese boat, not ours."
"Vietnamese boat?" Upon hearing this, the young man let go of the gear and looked at the ship in amazement. There were not only Vietnamese words printed on the ship but also many Vietnamese gs.
"Sh*t, it’s really the f**king Vietnamese. This group of scoundrels is really braver day by day, they even have the guts to catch fish in our Zhongjian ind!"
"Brother Wang, they’reing toward our direction" The young man froze. "Are they nning to crash into us?"
"They wouldn’t dare to do so. I’m going to see what these bast*rds are trying to do. Go into the cabin and get the harpoon. If something bad happens, we’re going to have a fight with them!"
"Okay. " The young man responded and ran into the cabin.
Two minutester, the boat that was still dragging the long, blew its whistle and stopped right in front of theirs. Seven to eight ugly Vietnamese guys were standing on the edge of the boat.
"You... Guys, get out of here..." A man on the boat who appeared to be their captain said a bunch of tongue twisters in Mandarin.
"What did he just say?" They both looked at each in confusion. "I think he was telling us to go away"
The young man rubbed his ears and said, "Looks like....seems so.... "
"Damn you, it’s you who should leave!" Brother Wang was furious. He lifted his foot, grabbed his slipper and threw it at the people on the ship.
"$%@*%&..."
The men on board were instantly in a rage. After disappearing for more than a dozen seconds, they took out a few high pressured water guns, positioned them on the edge of the boat and sprayed the two of them with water.
"F**k!" the feeling of being sprayed by water under high pressure on their whole body was indescribable. The two of them were soaked instantly and ran quickly towards the cabin and shut the hatch with a loud ’bang’.
Was there was an unwrittenw that said when two ships collide they must fight each other with high-pressure water guns?
"Hahaha..." the Vietnamese men on boardughed hysterically.
The young man wiped the water off his face and said, "What should we do now, brother Wang? We don’t have water guns on board. "
It is not every day that fishermen of these two countries had a disagreement. When they collide near the Paracel inds, one of them should give way.
"F**k them, let’s go!" Brother Wang took off his soaking wet clothes and went to the rudder. "Damn them. Big brother Zhou’s boat is going to sail out to sea in a few days. Since their boat is so big, those bast*rds won’t be able to leave this area in a short time, so we’ll call big brother Zhou to fight them off.
"Big brother Zhou?
The young man’s eyes lit up. "He has a tugboat that weighs more than 4000 tons!"
