    Dragged violently into a dead end Joanne beamed, "Lorraine, long time no see."


    Lorraine hooked the corners of her mouth lightly, "Joanne."


    Joanne looked Lorraine up and down, "Lorraine, I thought I''d never see you again after what


    happened, are you okay now?"


    Lorraine stiffened violently, the blood on her face quickly faded to a white colour.


    The girls in ss 1 asked, "What was it?"


    Lorraine squeezed her hand tighter, her whole body still shaking uncontrobly.

    Joanne paused and looked at Lorraine, the girls'' eyes were trembling and her emotions looked like on


    the verge of copse, she poofed out augh, "Why are you guys so gossipy, we used to be in the


    same ce, then she moved away and my sister and her transferred to this school before I met her."


    The fact that Ate was Joanne''s elder sister had been spread by the boys in ss 1 and basically


    the whole grade knew about it.

    A few of the girls in ss 1 stretched their voices and chuckled, "Joanne, I''m actually quite surprised


    that your elder sister got bottom in her grade,pared to yours , did your parents get a DNA test to


    check if she''s your real sister?"


    Joanneughed and shook her head, "Don''t talk nonsense guys, my elder sister she just doesn''t like to


    study."


    "Oh, it''s bottom of the pile, what difference does it make if she likes or not?"


    "Hey Lorraine, you''re No.1 now, why don''t you transfer to our ss, don''t let Ate affect you."


    Theughter of several girls fell into Lorraine''s eyes, which was particrly dazzling.


    Lorraine bit her lip, turned her face pale and walked upstairs away from the girls.

    Joanne looked at Lorraine''s back of fleeing hastily and smiled, "Nothing, let''s go get something to eat,


    my treat."


    The conversation immediately shifted.


    "I want popping beads milk tea."


    "I want crisps and fried chicken nuggets."

    Lorraine ran into the teachers’ toilet, which was empty.She stood at the sink, breathing heavily,, and


    raised her eyes to look slowly into the mirror.


    The face was white as a ghost and red with fear under her eyes.


    The memory seemed to pull back to years ago when she was dragged violently into a dead end by a


    middle aged man.


    Lorraine staggered back, jerking and clutching herself tightly as tears just fell from her eyes.


    She gritted her teeth, suppressed the whining deep in her throat, and squatted down slowly with her


    head in her arms.


    After a moment, she steadied herself and stood up as if nothing had happened, washed her face,


    looked herself in the mirror, managed to calm her expression and walked out slowly .


    Lorraine handed Irene the things she had fetched and walked back to her seat.


    Mandy saw that her hair was wet on her forehead, "Lorraine, did you just wash your face?"


    Lorraine mumbled, "I''m a bit sleepy, so I washed my face to wake up."
