    "The way you say that... are you trying to be a god or something," Dusk could not help but snort.


    Kyran did not reply. However, Dusk noticed how his expression mellowed slightly. As if what he said made Kyran remember something unpleasant.

    Kyran did not reply and instead chose to move on. He did not want to argue with Dusk over every little thing. Besides, he let Armak, Breira, and the Automatons go first to save him the trouble of dealing with every obstacle on the way himself. While he did not mind doing that, he wanted to ensure Armak and Breira had the opportunity to hone their abilities by fighting automatons.


    "This..." Dusk muttered when they moved to the next room.


    This room was where Kyran and his Sigils met the first group of automatons. Thus, remnants of their sh earlier were seen everywhere.


    "We cleared this room before you arrived back there," Kyran exined while pointing his thumb toward the room they just left.


    "So, if I came just earlier, I would have witnessed you guys."


    Kyran shook his head, "If you came early, you would have been dead."


    "You—."


    "We''re busy clearing this room. If you had arrived back there a few minutes early, then you would have triggered the array formation. You''d be dead before we could even save you."


    "Tsk," Dusk clicked his tongue. He had only noticed it now but seemed to develop a habit of clicking his tongue whenever he was around Kyran. In the end, he did not refute thetter''s words since he had a point.


    "Is the array formation in that room that powerful?" Dusk asked instead. His Array knowledge was only so-so, and honestly, he needed help to recognize most of the forms on the formation when Kyran was deciphering them.


    "Yes, it was full of offensive forms," Kyran answered. Since there was nothing much to do while they journeyed forth and waited for updates from Chrysanthemum and his Sigils, he reckoned it was eptable to talk with Dusk to pass the time. "And the defensive and supportive forms are equally annoying."


    "Then how were you able to go past the formation?"


    As soon as Dusk asked this question, he pped his head as if recalling something and said, "Right. You can warp."


    "I didn''t."


    "What?"


    "To be precise, that formation had an anti-transmission form, which prevented anyone from using any type of transmission-type moves."


    "But you warped behind me."


    "You''re outside the formation''s range," Kyran replied with a shrug.He might have downyed it, but the truth was that the main array formation also had an anti-transmission form.     "When you say you will make your move... you''re not nning to destroy them, are you?"

    "You—!" Dusk had to stop himself from cursing at him before continuing, "Look. I get that you have really good Array Knowledge. But we are talking about automatons here. While I don''t doubt your Array Knowledge, do you really think that is enough for you to activate an automaton?"


    Kyran could not help but look at Dusk incredulously after hearing his response. Was he truly talking to Kyran about that, or was he talking about himself?


    Unfortunately, Dusk mistook Kyran''s look as confusion as he added while nodding his head, "That''s right. Activating an automaton is a task on its own. Thus far, Loar is probably the only one out there who could do this. You may not know this, but Automatons are considered a legendary creation.
