    Chapter 1695: No-Name (25)

Several days had swiftlye and gone after the battle at the Battlefield of the Fallen Divine, titled the Battle for the Nameless with incredibly unexpected reactions. The No-Name Gxy and its leaders had suffered a drastic, lineage-ending, generation-affecting catastrophe, and theirst remaining saving grace was a sole, rtively unknown foreigner. If not for the unique qualities of the No-Name Gxy and its vastly different societal hierarchy, this might have been heavily resisted for outside help, but desperation and no clear voice for leadership were enough to string them further.

In the end, the eight greatest cultivators of the gxy, the peak native Sages, and leaders of the majority of the Major Regions within the gctic hierarchy had unquestionably lost at the hands of this foreigner. It wasn''t difficult to conclude that they had been tricked, schemed against, and taken advantage of.

The Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint had entered the scene with a solid image, and while there were suspicious details surrounding his existence, they were willing to sacrifice a piece of their meaty flesh for a continued future. Unfortunately, they took a free handout withyers of good faith carelessly.

A Heaven-Bound Mythical Oath would now establish them and their territory as vassals to the so-called Neo-Dawn Empire and the Neo-Dawn Ascendant Emperor. It wasn''t just one or two of them, but all of them. While it could be said not everyst piece ofnd was under the Neo-Dawn Empire banner for the agreed-upon period, over ny percent of the territory and nearly 100% of the top experts under this oath, there was no need toplicate matters.

The Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint''s subsequent seizing of control had all been smooth.

Wei Wuyin wasn''t too difficult either. Despite his brazen act of scheming against an entire gxy sessfully in their time of dire need, ing under a prominent and powerful Alchemic Saint was by no means a bad thing. In the intelligent, cunning, and piercing eyes of the upper elites, such as the Original Magistrates and Mystic Overlords of the gxy, a peak Worldly Alchemic Saint with an astonishing alchemical lineage and two other neighboring gxies under hismand, potentially three, could only be extremely beneficial for them.

They would rather have that than a Supreme Sage tyrant who would rule with an iron fist or monopolize resources. Moreover, Wei Wuyin''s initial mission statements toward integrating the Neo-Dawn Empire into the upper elites during his victory speech were epic to their ears.

Void Altars would be established that would eventually allow gctic travel andmunication, and eventually, Secret Realms that linked them together was already like a fantasy. Not even Mystic Overlords would dare travel the Dark Void between gxies carelessly. For theirmunications with the Utmost Purity Gxy, it was mostly done through extremely long-rangemunication using enormous amounts of resources or external contact through Sage River Oasis, the one Sage that spent her time acting as a liaison and ambassador for the No-Name Gxy.

As for traveling to the White Abyssal Gxy or the Sky Heart Gxy, most cultivators that could travel did not need to travel so recklessly far without clear benefit. While Wei Wuyin had made it seem like travel between gxies was trivial, it was anything but. It took Young Master Shang under the guidance of a Sage and an extremely rare Void Vessel on par with a Supreme Heavenly Treasure or Mystic-Heaven graded tool to make the trip in four whole years! Four years!

The prospect was certainly interesting. Moreover, Wei Wuyin didn''t hide his intent on trying to get permission to establish a Void Altar within the Utmost Purity Gxy; this could greatly improve the exchange of goods and intergcticmunication without needing years or even decades of careful traveling by a Sage.

Wei Wuyin was currently surveying and finalizing all the locations for the Void Altars on the outskirts of the gxy. He had already established a pre-prepared Void Altar at the location where he had originally arrived, slightly outside the Gctic Shell of the gxy, and opened a line ofmunication with the Sky Heart Gxy and White Abyssal Gxy. Earlier, Wei Wuyin had more or less lost hismunication with these gxies due to the vast distance between them.

The various leaders were deeply shaken by Wei Wuyin''s experimentation and disy of his Void Altars'' functions, especially when they saw hazy images of Violet Sea, Crimson de, Fairy Silence, a ck and gold Roc, andstly, a tiny twin-horned hare.

When they saw how respectful the attitudes of those five acted in their hazy forms to Wei Wuyin, especially since two of them were beasts, they were taken aback initially. Considering that Wei Wuyin had defeated eight Sages or at least convinced them to surrender, the details of the battle remainedrgely unknown to most so spection was ring wildly, but regardless of which, they expected that he had some ability, so it only made sense.

A few keen-minded were curious about the so-called Neo-Dawn Empire. It was not within the White Abyssal Gxy or the Sky Heart Gxy.

When Wei Wuyin tested the long-range Void Portal Creation by exhausting a sizable amount of spatial and time essence stones and treasures, they were all stunned with cked jaws and widened eyes. They witnessed Violet Sea receive a batch of Mystic-Earth graded materials unique to their gxy, and she brandished them from the other side. They were unable to speak for a long, long time.

The practical applications for the Void Altars were revolutionary to any society. Unfortunately, the method for creating the core of these Void Altars was restricted, and few would guess that they required the refined and condensed bloodline energies of a True Void Dragon, a metaphysical bloodline that likely doesn''t exist anywhere else.

Still, these Void Altars were only the initial builds, and perhaps one day Wei Wuyin could use Void Crystals and formations to emte the effects of his current Void Altars. One day.

After the test run wasplete, Wei Wuyin had to assign a rotation of guards who had to swear extensive oaths. Additionally, they needed to at least be Original Magistrates, especially for the first round of establishments. Outside of the core material for the Void Altars, the rest could be formed through Creation-type Methods by any Worldly Saint.

Numerous Heavenly Saints were jumping at the bits to be assigned, especially after Wei Wuyin told the benefits of acting as guards. He was willing to allow Mystic Overlords to take the role as well, and they would be rewarded with greater benefits for each consecutive year of noplications and safe, proper functioning. For Heavenly Saints, those Original Magistrates, they would be given Mystic-World Essence Stones and a single Mystic-World grade product, up to high-tier. Of course, if asked for a lower tier or grade, there would be subsequently higher quality and quantity given.

Mystic Overlords benefits could already be expected. Moreover, this was for each year. Earning a single Mystic-World Alchemical Product for a single year of work was unbelievable already, but they knew that these Void Altars were of paramount importance after the tests. None of them underestimated how extraordinary they were.

Wei Wuyin didn''t talk about the added defenses they decided to establish or armies, allies, or groups they could form to take the duty as long as the original assigned cultivator was present year-round without missing a day, and all responsibility fell on their shoulders. With this, they could muster their own forces to establish greater, impregnable defenses to guard the Void Altars.

In truth, the Void Altars were more like antennas rather than Void Gates. They didn''t directly establish Void Portals, but the surrounding formations could do so using resources or Void Disks and piggybacking on their inherent power. In the future, any Void Gate could connect with a Void Altar across a certain region, and they could do exceedingly long transportation at low costs. It was all for the future, however.

Wei Wuyin finalized some matters with the Void Altars and then gathered the eight Sages, excluding Pakhet and River Oasis, thetter of which was still within the Utmost Purity Gxy.

"This isn''t a bad oue," Khonshu smilingly said first.

Imentet''s beautifully alluring eyes almost rolled out of her skull at such a statement. Not a bad oue? They essentially lost the autonomy of their territories and gxies. Moreover, they had no recourse to retrieve it due to the Heaven-Bound Mythical Oath and the inability of the Guardian Divinity to take action. After all, Wei Wuyin wasn''t a Supreme Sage nor did he have one in his possession.

Not all the Sages were satisfied with the oue despite Wei Wuyin''s insistence that their cultures and traditions wouldrgely remain intact, with the only critical changes being equality regarding the hierarchy of races, and some of the Neo-Dawn Empire''s core rules andws.

Wei Wuyin''s empirical rules seemedrgely hands-off, allowing those in power to retain their power without suffering a loss as long as they abided by these rules. Whether it was the White Abyssal Gxy or Sky Heart Gxy, they could attest that Wei Wuyin''s establishment of these rules wasn''t too tyrannical, simply prevented anything too unreasonable.

Not even the beasts of the Sky Heart Gxy cared that those humans and half-mutants were given sanctuaries. Wei Wuyin provided alternatives far more effective thanary-sized human farms too, so they couldn''t even harp on maintaining those things as a part of ''natural selection'', ''child training'', or ''enjoyable sport''. Moreover, it went both ways.

It was far better to use them as farmers than as materials to be farmed, again—both ways.

Moreover, it wasn''t as if they couldn''t hunt either for sport, simply not at an egregiouslyrge scale with reckless abandon. He treated all races equally, and this truly shook the Sages and others when they learned of this. Most beings had biases, especially toward their species and race. They eventually recalled and realized that Wei Wuyin was a hybrid of some sort, or likely owed beasts an enormous favor in his past rting to his monstrous cultivation. Who knew? But the fact didn''t change that he had no bias that one could expect, and he was hardened in heart in enforcing that equality.

"So," Imentet ignored Khonshu''s slimy smile, "you could now be considered the leader of this entire gxy, and the portion you''ve yet to seize is merely an order away. What will it be?"

Her question caused the other Sages to perk their ears.

Wei Wuyin gave a knowing smile. She was referring to the most important matter of this entire debacle.

"That? I''ve long since decided," he turned toward the vast gxy that was once like loose sand in a vast ocean and then focused on a single area. A valiant ck-haired beauty with the darkest and purest eyes that existed, practicing her saber arts diligently with sweat wetting her forehead and palms.

"From today forth, this gxy will be named:

    Resolute Dusk Gxy."

Author''s note: I reserve the right to change the name! Only a few times, though. Lol.
