Konrad Stone and Lars, experienced trackers, investigate the mysterious creature, uncovering strange tracks and makeshift cages. They encounter the Dark Ones, a group of Cherokee warriors, who believe they are responsible for the deaths. They learn about their plans and gather a small army to stop them.
