Selden quickly supported her and wanted to bring her back to the bed. She turned her face away as
her tears cascaded uncontroblù down her face. At this moment, Damien came in. Damien was not
informed by Jessica as soon as the ident happened, so Ava hadpleted her surgery by the time
he knew about it. He came with Selina. Damien saw Selden carrying Ava back to the bed when he
entered the ward. His expression changed instantly.
Ava raised her head and saw both Damien and Selina standing at the door. Suddenly, Ava burst into
laughter.
“Ava, don’t scare me…” Jessica was taken aback by her daughter’sughter. Ava stared at Damien
