A looming shadow, a gentle kiss, a breath-taking breeze. Lots of thoughts roam around in my mind, God knows how much I have suffered to bury all those innocuous ideas before they turn into truly frightening concepts, attitudes, and mindsets.
Why do we exist? It’s a silly question, I know, but still…
Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.
Are we animals? Are we plants? Are we even alive? What is life? Or what is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets, one might argue.
Mankind must not exist. This whole world is but a child’s room full of toys. No consequences. No reprimanding. Just an utter requiem of chaos and a genuinely astonishing set of hidden rules that it goes by.
I will end this cycle, the cycle of hatred and suffering. I am no villain nor hero. I am only fulfilling my obligations, my duty towards this miserable world. Humans shall cease to exist. Not because I don’t want them to, but because the world itself doesn’t. how can someone want a pebble in their shoe?
As Edmund Burke once said: all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.
