    Ye Qn waited for a long time, yet Su Hongxing didn’t return to the banquet hall, making him feel uneasy.


    Eventually, he found an unconscious Su Hongxing in the restroom.


    He rushed Su Hongxing to the hospital with utmost urgency. Yet, a full day and night passed, and she still hadn’t regained consciousness.


    ording to the doctor’s examination, there was nothing wrong with Su Hongxing. She was not overtired, her body was healthy, and she hadn’t suffered any injuries. But, inexplicably, she was deeply unconscious.


    “Mr. Ye, we have really tried our best. This is the first time we have encountered such a case as Ms. Su,” the principal doctor reluctantly concluded.


    “How could someone just fall into unconsciousness out of the blue? Are you sure she didn’t get injured or take any medications before fainting?” Ye Qn looked at the group of doctors standing before him.


    The best doctors in the hospital hade, but they couldn’t determine the cause of Su Hongxing’s unresponsive state.


    All the doctors chose to keep silent. Everything that should have been examined, had been, and everything seemed fine.


    “Alright, everyone can leave now. I’ll find other specialist physicians to examine her.” Having given his orders, Ye Qn turned to look at the unconscious Su Hongxing.


    He didn’t know what Su Hongxing had experienced in the restroom, or why she fainted.


    Suddenly, he thought of the fact that Su Hongxing had met with Xiao Ji before her ckout. Did Xiao Ji say something to Su Hongxing that shocked her into aa?


    Should he inform Xiao Ji about Su Hongxing’s condition?


    Actually, Su Hongxing was dreaming. A chaotic dream she’d had since childhood, filled with many familiar faces. Ye Qn appeared in her dreams most frequently.

    “Are you awake?!” Ye Qn’s voice echoed in her ear.


    While he was still debating whether to find Xiao Ji, this woman unexpectedly woke up. Earlier, the doctor had told him to be prepared, if Su Hongxing hadn’t awakened within a few days, she might never open her eyes again.

    “Of course you can. It’s not ideal for you to sit at home all day without work,” Ye Qn readily agreed, “Do you feel ufortable anywhere? The doctor will be here soon to check on you.”


    “I’m fine.”


    The doctor quickly arrived for re-examination and asked Su Hongxing a lot of questions. Apart from that strange dream, Su Hongxing answered truthfully about everything else.


    On the way back to the Ye family mansion, Ye Qn found Su Hongxing to be quieter than before.


    It was clear she had something on her mind. Her thoughts were likely rted to her sudden ckout.


    “As husband and wife, you can speak to me if you have any problem. We can solve it together.” Ye Qn encouraged Su Hongxing with a smile.


    Surprised, Su Hongxing stared at Ye Qn’s smiling face. Perhaps even he hadn’t noticed, but his smile was rigid, clearly not heartfelt.
