For a moment, Arthur felt like he had travelled back in time to five years ago when he had heard the
news reporting the ne crash. He had no choice but to ept the reality that she had left him.
Holding his phone with trembling hands, he asked Chad to go check on Lizbeth while he called Lucy
again and again.

"Stop the car and get off!" Arthur was under a lot of tension. He wished that they were already at
Lindbarry Chateau so he could check if Lucy was there.
The driver valued his life over money. He raised his hands and got out of the car shakily. "Sir, I''ll get off

Arthur got out and walked to the driver''s side, ignoring the driver who thought he was being robbed. He
stepped on the gas and roared away.

Arthur licked his dry lips, and his hands that were hanging down by his sides were trembling slightly.
"Are you sure she was taken to the hospital?"
