“Go back and rest after you’re done,” Eric said as he turned to leave. Just as his hand touched the
doorknob, Vera rushed over and hugged his waist from behind. “Eric, don’t go!”
“I’ve already gone this far, can’t you tell?” Vera had set aside her sense of propriety and decency to
