would be quieter than usual.

Vera said, “Elm, if you need notes, I can lend you mine. Eileen is busy studying and attending her
extracurricr ss, so she’s pretty busy.”
Elm continued to lie down and fell asleep without paying them any heed.

lending me your notes to look at?”
