Maxim arrived at the hospital.

hospital bed.

Briana Cameron should have been angry, but at that moment, she found herself unexpectedly soft–

She quickly turned her head away, saying coldly, “No, I just realized that yourpany, your brother,
they are all more important than me.”

Briana Cameron turned her head to look at him, a hint of mockery shing in her eyes, “Really?”
“I could swear to the heavens, if you don’t believe me, you could tell me, what do I need to do to prove
it to you?”
Briana Cameron pushed his hand away, “No need, there’s nothing to prove, and there’s really nothing
wrong here, you should go back to work.”
“I wouldn’t leave until this matter was resolved today!”
A sh of impatience crossed Briana Cameron’s eyes as she frowned, “Maxim, can you stop being so
childish? I want to be alone for a while, okay?”
No sooner had the words left her mouth than she was swept into Maxim’s arms.
Briana Cameron stiffened, and upon realizing, she quickly struggled.
“Let go of me! Let go!”
However, no matter how she struggled, how she beat against Maxim, his grip on her did not cken in

not true. You were so angry then, being alone would only make you more upset. I was wrong to neglect
youst night because of work, I’m sorry, it won’t happen again.”
Briana Cameron bit her lower lip, all the grievances and unhappiness fromst night to just now
suddenly disappeared without a trace, her whole mood improved.
She took a deep breath and said coldly, “You had a gathering with your brothersst night, why didn’t
you take me with you? Do you think I’m not presentable?”
Maxim was taken aback for a moment, but couldn’t help butugh once he realized what was
happening.
Briana Cameron shoved him away, angrily demanding, “What are youughing at?!”
Her pouting appearance was just too adorable, Maxim couldn’t help but pinch her face,ughing as he
said, “I’mughing at your rich imagination! How could I possibly think you’re not presentable? It’s just
that you’re too presentable, which is why I don’t want other men to see you!”
“If possible, I really wanted to hide you at home, where only I could see you.”
Briana Cameron: “……I didn’t believe it!”
Although she said so, the corners of her mouth couldn’t help but curl up.
“Really, if you wanted to go, I would have taken you with me in the future.”
