Just after hanging up the phone, Briana came out of the kitchen carrying two cups of coffee. She
handed one to Maxim, then looked at him with downcast eyes and asked, “Did you find the person?”

you’re with my sister? Didn’t you guys break up?”
Maxim didn’t respond to her words, his expression icy as he said, “Has Isaac been hiding here with you
all this time?!”
Kiley paused for a moment, then her eyes reddened and tears began to fall.
