He furrowed his brows, intending to ignore it, but unexpectedly, Briana picked up the phone for him.
“Answer the phone first.”
After the connection was made, whatever was said on the other end caused Maxim’s face to suddenly
turn incredibly unpleasant.
After hanging up the phone, he turned to Briana and said, “Grandma suddenly fainted and was
hospitalized!”
The two arrived at the hospital, it was already past eight in the evening.

The butler saw them and hurriedly came forward to greet them.
“What did the doctor say?. What was the reason for grandma’s sudden fainting?”

after grandmater.”
The butler nodded, “Alright, I will go back and pack some personal clothes for the olddy. The doctor
said she needs to be hospitalized for a few days.”

Not long after the butler left, Norma woke up.
Upon learning that he had to be hospitalized, the old man immediately became upset and insisted on
going home.
“I just had a slight fainting spell due to low blood sugar, the doctor is making a mountain out of a
molehill. I’ve had no major health issues all these years, I would be fine just going home and resting.”
While peeling an apple, Briana said, “Grandma, you should stay in the hospital for a few days and have
some more tests. If there’s nothing wrong, we’ll feel relieved.”

Norma frowned, “I’m really fine, staying in the hospital makes me feel ufortable all over.
Briana chuckled, “Just a few days. If you’re not used to it, how about I stay here with you for these few
days?”
Upon hearing this, Norma reluctantly spoke, “Alright.”
Briana cut the apple into small pieces and nched them with boiling water before giving them to
Norma to eat.
As the two were chatting, Reese and Kendra arrived.

for a moment? I have something to tell you”
