As to my goal unknown to me I go


    Beneath me I feel the absence of water''s flow


    My eyes weary of seeing the sun''s reflection ahead


    One blink later I''m lost in darkness that has no end


    One step forward echoes no foot''s sound


    Many leaps ahead though there''s no solid ground


    When my mind to fantasy wonders, suddenly I see light between a few cracks


    Without hesitation to escape I jump on it and I''m left speechless to what beneath it has


    I move around in tiny stepping stones


    The stars in the sky now flying in front of my eyes


    I see batches of darkness with light as in comes and goes


    Bright flashes of the rainbow''s color by me flies


    One step after the other I climb a set of stairs


    Somehow no wind blows between my hair


    Still I smell the same scent of clashing steel


    But with it more clouds come and mix it with more


    I start wondering if I''m dreaming or this is real

    The end of the long stairs brings me somewhere new


    There''s a stage for me at the center rocky platform with a view


    As my foot sets itself on the crystal circle I hear the echo of my steps


    And from nowhere another blinding flash from bello manifests


    I open my eyes and look around


    Small balls of light and shattered mirror shards are to be found


    Within them I see something entirely different


    Other pictures of my world from times past and in the present


    Once again I see you behind me in the sea to fish


    But in front pictures of giant, powerful war machines


    My eyes play tricks on me as the mirror images move around


    It''s like windows to my minds fantasies that I see


    Each of them different as they echo no sound


    Some with people, otherworldly creatures and different colored seas


    I gaze deeply inside the image of that same machine


    Suddenly I feel dizzy as the mirrored shards seize to be


    The stairs behind me all crumble and fade away


    In front of me a path that leads to the endless ether


    I walk it slowly as I see the stars around me playing tricks


    Suddenly I look around and no more green fields that spanned forever


    Tall buildings of stone and steel


    Red flags with black markings falling from the roof''s heel


    A dimly lit alleyway with boxes and no people


    In front of me a busy street marching men in black leather


    And I stay in that same dress that mirrors the women by standing to see


    No looks like the ones back home did I receive ever


    Watching the machines march along the men I feel a certain darkness


    Their hands lifted with all fingers towards the heavens


    This new world terrifies me as I look at those aside expressions


    They speak of hopes turned grim, promises wronged and deceptions
