Neera chuckled. “Wow, seems like you guys have really been learning all sorts of praise wordstely.”
Scratching the back of his head, Sammy chuckled sheepishly. “No, not at all.”
Neera stood by the bed with a gentle expression, looking at the night scene outside. In a soft and
gentle voice, she said, “Adult matters have nothing to do with you children. No matter what happened
in the past, it’s all over now. Your grandparents are kind to you, so you need to behave and not cause

Jean took her hand, leading her outside. “I’m not sure either. I was busy in the study earlier. Come, let’s
go down and see.”

The two of them descended the stairs, chatting andughing. To their surprise, they found the living
room coffee table piled high with all sorts of gift boxes.

Neera asked curiously, “What are all these?”
