    Neera was silent for a while. She thought what Levi said made sense


    “I guess so, but it’d be rude to decline their invitation First of all, apany of that size would rarely


    invite us to their business dinner. It doesn’t matter if we end up striking a deal, but if we decline without


    a proper reason, I doubt they’d be happy about it, and it’ll be disadvantageous for us. Secondly, the

    they’re inviting us with bed intentions and want to set us up or use us to defeat Beauvort Corporation,

    Her hair was loosely draped over her shoulders, though it did not cover her face, Her appearance


    attracted many of the guests at the venue.


    Even though she looked dainty and elegant in the gown, her demeanor carried a hint of authority


    Levi was smitten when he saw her.


    Trying his best topose himself, he walked over like a gentleman and offered her his elbow.


    “Take my arm, Neera. You’re wearing high heels, and I don’t want you to trip and fall.”


    Neera declined. “It’s fine. Let’s go in like this.”


    She was not used to hugging another man’s arm. She would only do that to Jean.


    Levi was not really bothered. He could not take his eyes off her.

    Shortly after Neera and Levi went inside, Jean’s car arrived at the scene.


    Obviously, they were here for the business dinner too.

    “Didn’t they say it was only a small gathering? This doesn’t look like it.”
