    People start to get up. Some people only just sit up and stare at the lake or at the ground, their thoughts scattered. Others get up to walk around a bit. And some others help cook the meat that they will eat for the morning.


    There are two bodies of monsters near the edge of the forest where patrollers spotted them emerging in search of prey and quickly dispatched them.


    Black Military Man approaches the campfire where there is already a pile of meat ready to be consumed as throughout the night meat was constantly being cooked, either as they realized that the fire was too small to readily feed their large party speedily, or because they had nothing to do  and wanted to get their minds off things by doing something. “Good Morning”, he says cheerfully as he sits down and sighs.


    Red is poking at the fire. “Good morning”, he answers back. “How was your night? Get some sleep?”

    Red: That’s nice. Can’t say the same for the rest of them


    Red gestures to the rest of the group who look like they are zombies or something.


    Black Military Man: They’re just going through the motions. It’ll be fine. They’re adapting. It’s a good sign. We’ll get through it.


    Red: I hope so.


    He pauses.


    Red: I’m sorry I didn’t get your name.


    Black Military Man: La Fonte, James Christopher La Fonte


    Red: Johannes, Otto Johannes. Nice to meet you La Fonte


    La Fonte: Same. Nice to meet you. Johannes.
