    President’s assistant because of you.”


    Comeliaughed and said. “I won’t overthink, just focus on your work with President Hartley Show


    everyone your capabilities.”

    “You should take a rest now I should go back to my room as well Cornelia said.


    As Cornelia was about to leave, Tahlia held her back, “Nelly”


    “Just spit it out if you have anything to say, no need to beat around the bush. Cornelia said.


    “Nothing I just want to hug you again and say goodnight! Tahlia said.

    After leaving Tahlia’s room, Cornelia went straight back to the master bedroom on the third floor


    She pushed open the door, and Marcus had juste out of the shower. His hair still dripping wet,


    looking incredibly sexy. But, Cornelia didn’t have time for that, she quickly grabbed a towel and said,


    “Let me dry your hair”


    Marcus didn’t refuse, and he sat down on a single sofa next to him, making it easier for Comelia, who


    was shorter, to dry his hair


    Cornelia gently dried his hair andmented, “Your hair is so thick and dense”


    Marcus closed his eyes,zily leaned back on the sofa, and didnt respond Cornelia poked him with her


    finger, Jeremy, I’m talking to you, can you hear me?”


    It took several seconds for Marcus tozily respond. “I heard you”


    You heard me so why don’t you answer me? Cornelia asked


    Marcus didn’t respond. His disregard made Cornelia angry “Jeremy, what the hell do you mean? Do


    you know I’ve been putting up with you all afternoon?”


    “What?” Marcus asked.


    Such a response deeply hurt Cornelia. So what she cared about, what she minded, Marcus didn’t care


    at all. She gave a bitter smile, “Don’t you know why I’m angry?”


    Marcus actually asked back, “Why are you angry?”


    Cornelia was so angry that she felt a pain in her chest. “You haven’t been home for several days


    because of work. Today you finally came back, but youpletely ignored me, even didn’t nce at


    me Shouldn’t I be angry?”


    “You’re angry about this?” Marcus asked.


    Cornelia was speechless. She had reason to suspect that Marcus, this man, was deliberately trying to


    drive her mad.


    Marcus said. “Tver been very busy with work recently.”


    Cornelia said, “I know you’re very busy, when you’re busy. I try not to disturb you. But when you’re


    done, can you give me a call, or talk to me more?”
