    Alfredo replied. “My brother suddenly decided to recognize a girl he just met as his granddaughter. I’m


    a little worried, so I had someone took into your background But don’t worry, I mean no harm. I’m just


    worried he might be taken advantage of and get hurt.”


    Even though he said he meant no harm, Cornelia still felt uneasy about being investigated

    Alfredo continued, “Have you ever considered that Augustine’s affection for you might have a reason?”


    Come asked, “What reason?”


    Alfredo said, “Have you ever considered that you might actually be his biological granddaughter?”
