    Hannah stomped on Steven’s foot in fury, putting all her weight into it. The top of the foot was a tender

    Lucas cracked a joke with a grin, “Steven, what’s the rush, man? There’s a room right over there. You


    guys wanna take this to the next level?”

    than a ything for Steven in front of his buddies, something they could trample on without a second

    your wife. Can you give Cornelia a few days off, so she can hang out and have some fun with us?”

    Rosie peered out the door. “Where’s your wife? Today is a gathering for you and your spouse, yet


    you’ve dragged Cornelia along, not giving her any personal time. That’s a bit much, don’t you think?”


    Marcus reached out and took Cornelias hand, “Ladies and gentlemen, let me formally introduce to you


    my beautiful wife–Cornelia!”


    Steven and Lucas had known Cornelia’s identity all along, but they still put on a surprised act, “Whoa,

    The guys in the room had known about Cornelia’s identity, so when Marcus made the announcement,


    they weren’t exactly startled. But it was a different -story for the twodies present.


    Hannah and Rosie were dumbstruck, their mouths hanging open, unable to process Marcus’s words.


    After a moment, Hannah managed to find her voice, “President Hartley, what did you just say? Could


    you repeat that?”


    Introducing his wife was something Marcus was proud of, so he repeated with joy, “My lovely wife,
