    Marcus pulled up a chair and sat next to Granny Luisa, “Please go ahead, granny.”


    Granny Luisa said, “I just wanna know, besides beingmitted to your marriage, is there anything


    else between you and Cornelia?”


    Marcus asked, “Isn’t beingmitted to the marriage the right thing?”


    Granny Luisa paused, then said, “Sure, ain’t nothing wrong with that. But seeing you two being so


    compatible, I wish there’s more to it. I hope you’re together because you love each other, not just for


    the sake of the marriage.”


    This struck a chord with Marcus. Granny’s thoughts were eerily in sync with his. He was


    starting to feel something different towards Cornelia. He hoped Cornelia was with him not just because


    of duty.

    you guys. Don’t worry, when I make money, I’ll make sure you guys do too. We’ve always said since we

    Abigail said, “You have no idea how thrilled I am right now. I’ve been dreaming of my friends getting
