    Dr. Dawson lifted her head and once again saw that shocking scar on his face No matter how many

    He hoped they could meet halfway at the lunch. But before it even started, his wife was itching to leave

    Steven stood his ground, so Rosie had to sweet talk her husband, “Lucas, you promised I could hang


    out with Hannah and Cornelia if I came to Woodpine with you. Keep your promise or I’m not gonna


    trust you ever again”


    Lucas pretended to think it over. “Let’s just get another private room next door. The girls can eat here


    and we guys will be next door and not bother you if you need us, just holler and we’ll be right over.”


    Rosie stomped her foot, “No!”


    Steven passed the buck to Marcus, “Marc, what’s your take on this?”
