    Sean stared at Cordy, who remained perfectlyposed as she said determinedly, “I’m not giving up.”


    Sean gave in. “Do you want me toe along?”


    “No.” Cordy smiled. “You’d just get in the way.”

    Cordy smiled, and wheeled herself out of the room.

    After all, she had no idea how she should act around John, who now had another woman.
