“You can sleep with me all you want. Like, right now,” Sam said, deliberately
harassing Quinn.
After all, he was sick of how she was always so stiff around him.
Quinn was naturally scowling, upset with his revolting tendencies. She wanted nothing
more than to p him across the face.
The man certainly deserved every insult Zoe ever threw at him.
Quinn took a deep breath and told herself to calm down…and that was when the door
suddenly opened, wide.
“Quinn…oh!“
Syd yelped when she saw Quinn on Sam’sp, and Ryan was standing right behind
her.
Quinn quickly sprang to her feet, surprised by the sudden intrusion.
Sam’s fingers were twitching, but he was otherwise much calmer than Quinn.
Looking up at the pair standing at the doorway, he said, “There’s nothing surprising
about a married couple getting frisky.”
However, Quinn felt thoroughly embarrassed even as she stood beside Sam. She was
supposed to be awyer, and her heart couldn’t ept such …uncouth behavior!
“Apologies for the intrusion,” Ryan suddenly said, and took Syd’s hand as they left.
Quinn watched as they left, her lips clenching.

“Go on. Chase after them-l’m used to it anyway,” Sam said nonchntly.” You’ve
always been following Ryan around before anyway, haven’t you?”
Quinn nced at him, and started towards the door.
Sam’s knuckles clenched, but then Quinn suddenly locked the door.
There was a sh of surprise in his eyes as she returned to him, and said,” Let’s
continue.”
Simon’s heart skipped a beat.
He had just been harassing Quinn-he had no intention of doing anything with her.
Yet, just as he was about to y along, he saw the tears welling in her eyes.
His mood seemed to turn upside down right there and then, and he bellowed, “I was
just messing with you, Quinn! I wouldn’t be interested even if you got naked in front of
me!”
And with those words, he stormed off, kicking the door on his way out.
