    He then turned toward Hendy. “What was she talking about?”


    Hendy was quiet for a moment as he tensed up-he was too old to understand the young ‘uns troubles


    in love.

    “Perhaps she’s suggesting that you’re too fickle, sir?” Hendy said gingerly.


    “Am I, now?” John asked, raising a brow.


    “You do look that way, sir… I mean, you’re so handsome that thedies might feel insecure.”


    John was speechless.
