    He had disturbed them. He shouldn’t have agreed to have lunch with them at their apartment!


    Sheng Kang couldn’t stomach any more dog food and left without having lunch. He had really disturbed them!

    Sheng Kang sat in his car and took out the mini transmitter bug he removed from the coffee table in the living room at the Cloud Top Condominium from his pocket. Then, he called Fu Huai’an.


    “Mr. Fu, I found a bug underneath Miss Liuli and Jacob Belli’s coffee table. I think you might have spies among your men since they were able to nt this at the Cloud Top Condominium. It’s time to check the people around you!” said Sheng Kang.


    Sheng Kang only started the car after receiving a reply from Fu Huai’an.


    After Fu Huai’an hung up, he and Tang Zheng conducted a widespread check on the people around them and in thepany. Before long, they managed to weed out most of the spies.


    Fu Huai’an also assigned more men to secretly protect Jacob Belli.


    Time seemed to pass especially quickly when one was happy.


    Before long, filming for Yun Liuli’s movie began.


    The bored Jacob Belli packed his things and prepared to travel to scenic locations in the country to take photos of the scenery, but he was stopped by Tang Zheng before he could leave.

    “Long time no see, Mr. Jacob Belli!” Francis Maunier, the chief designer of the Italian brand GF, greeted him respectfully.

    Tang Zheng was actually worried for Gu Qingcheng!


    The first job Fu Huai’an assigned Gu Qingcheng as Jacob Belli was for a brand like GF. What were they going to do if Gu Qingcheng’s photography skills weren’t up to standard and he was exposed?

    Although Tang Zheng acted as the go-between, he couldn’t apany Gu Qingcheng to the venue, as GF’s new designs couldn’t be leaked to the public before the fashion show. Upon returning to thepany, Tang Zheng went straight to Lu Jinnan’s office. Lu Jinnan couldn’t stand the nervous expression on Tang Zheng’s face.


    After signing thest document, Lu Jinnan casually capped his pen and frowned as he stared at Tang Zheng. “You’ve been dawdling in my office for the whole morning now. When are you going to leave?”


    “I’m just worried...” Tang Zheng frowned and reached out for his cup on the coffee table, only to realize that it was empty. He picked it up and showed it to Lu Jinnan. “It’s empty. Get your assistant to pour me another cup of coffee!”


    “Another cup? Do you think my office is a cafe? You’ve already had six cups of coffee here. Aren’t you afraid of suffering from caffeine withdrawals?” Lu Jinnan stood up, grabbed his suit jacket that was hanging from his chair, and put it on.


    “Where are you going?” Tang Zheng asked.


    “Xiaonian’s father said their bathroom light is broken and wants me to rece it!” Lu Jinnan replied.


    Tang Zheng’s eyes widened at Lu Jinnan. He had a dumbfounded expression on his face as he spread out his hands and eximed, “You’ve been busy for the whole morning, and I’ve been waiting for you for so long that it’s almost lunchtime now. You’re telling me you’re going to your father-inw’s ce to rece a bathroom light?”


    “A son-inw who isn’t ordered around doesn’t have the approval of his parents-inw!” Lu Jinnan picked up his phone from his big office desk and ced it in the pocket of his suit jacket. He had a hint of a seemingly provocative smile on his lips as he asked, “Why, haven’t you been ordered around by your parents-inw before? Oh... that’s right! You and You Nainai haven’t gotten your marriage certificate, so her mother isn’t your mother-inw yet!”


    Lu Jinnan then happily walked out of the office...


    Tang Zheng was so frustrated that his chest hurt. He gritted his teeth and said to Lu Jinnan, “At least Nainai and I already have a child! What do you have?”


    Tang Zheng’s words stung, as he didn’t know that Lu Jinnan and Bai Xiaonian once had a child together.


    Lu Jinnan didn’t say anything and pulled open the office door.


    “Lu Jinnan, you’re abandoning your friend for your partner!”


    Tang Zheng’s words weren’t able to make Lu Jinnan stay, and so, he could only head upstairs to look for Fu Huai’an and have lunch with him. However, the moment he entered Fu Huai’an’s office, he noticed the lunchbox that Lin Nuan had prepared for Fu Huai’an.


    Tang Zheng was frustrated.


    While eating lunch with Fu Huai’an, he sulked andined about Lu Jinnan. “This morning, I brought Jacob Belli to meet with the chief designer of GF. I was so worried that his photos wouldn’t turn out well. Meanwhile, Lu Jinnan... went to Bai Xiaonian’s house to rece the bathroom light for his father-inw! He wasn’t worried at all! How infuriating is that?”


    After drinking a mouthful of soup, Fu Huai’an looked at Tang Zheng, who was shoving rice into his mouth, and asked, “Have you been having rtionship troubles with You Nainai?”


    Tang Zheng was speechless.


    He just had to bring it up!
