    Chapter 781 Their Rtionship Isn’t What You Think It Is


    “Dr. Walter said the surgery was a sess, but the patient needs to be warded in the ICII. If he gets


    through tonight withoutplications, there won’t be any major risks down the road.”


    Paul felt assured by the nurse’s exnation. He was initially worried about Jenny operating on Alec


    because he could not gauge her feelings for him. She could have taken Alec’s life in silence by


    iming a ’slip-up” in the surgery. Thankfully, Jenny didn’t pull any tricks on Alec.


    Soon, Alec was wheeled out from the operating theater to the ICU. Jenny came out and noticed Paul


    by the entrance. She told him, “The surgery was sessful. Please inform Mr. Zachary Faust.”

    “I’ll stay back. Alec’s my boyfriend, after all,” ke volunteered. Now that the surgery was a sess, it

    Jenny was fine with it, but Paul objected, “It’s alright. Miss Watkins, you should go home and have a


    rest. I’ll look after Alec.”
