    The ne soon took off. Jenny shut her eyes and rested while Alec sat beside her, still giddy. He knew


    Jenny was upset and didn’t want to talk right now, so he quietly stayed by her side, not asking her


    anything though he was incredibly curious about her situation.


    After some time, Jenny asked, “Aren’t you curious about what happened between Graham and me?”


    “Of course I am. I just didn’t want to disturb you. You looked like you had a lot on your mind,” Alec said


    with a smile. He hade to know her a little more after spending time with her all this while.


    Jenny sighed. He was right. She had wanted nothing more than to be left alone in a quiet space since


    boarding the ne. But her mood had lightened after some peace and quiet. “It’s nothing, really. I think

    “He doesn’t want you involved with me, does he?” Alec could easily guess what had transpired


    between the father and daughter.


    Jenny huffed. “Who does he think he is, really? What right does he have to control what I do or who I


    see?”


    Biological father or not, she didn’t want to be restrained by him.


    “I trust he means well, even if it doesn’t seem like it. You don’t need to pit him against you that much/


    Alec advised. He knew that, as much as Jenny was against Graham trying to control her, she still cared


    about his thoughts.


    She wouldn’t be this upset if she didn’t.


    Jenny shot him a re. “So you agree with him? That we shouldn’t see each other again?”


    “No, no, of course not.” Hell no! “All I’m saying is, maybe you two could talk about this more


    constructively. Or, I could prove myself to him with time.”


    Alec knew Graham disapproved of him being with Jenny because of their prior divorce. It had


    established the impression that Alec was unreliable and untrustworthy. Besides, Jenny was recognized


    by the Walters as their own now.


    Someone lesser like a Faust wouldn’t make sense to be with Jenny. Alec didn’t find these troubling.


    He’d solve whatever issue to be with Jenny.

    you.” Jenny rolled her eyes.

    Jenny then closed her eyes, leaned back in her seat, and actually started to nap.


    Alec quietly instructed the flight attendant to bring her a nket so she could keep warm. It was


    obvious to anyone looking at the two that Alec deeply cared about Jenny.


    Meanwhile, Graham had departed on his private airne after realizing Jenny had long been on her


    flight. He felt really helpless. His intentions had been good, yet things had transpired in this manner so


    swiftly. He couldn’t even discipline her because of what he still owed her.


    Graham sighed. Now he even had to appease his daughter’s temper because he couldn’t bear the


    thought of Jenny not visiting their home in Bardoff City anymore.
